Osmu Sosmu

Osmu Sosmu is a loyal Cathedral cultivator whose merchant-family experience turns the bro squad’s solidarity into practical support for Jack and Brock.

Biography

From a Fellow Cultivator to the Bro Squad’s Organizer

Osmu first appears among the Cathedral cultivators watching the Ranking Obelisk. He has just reached middle C-Grade, and the obelisk records his rank as 793; the modest placement does not diminish his delight or the friends cheering him on. He approaches Jack after Jack’s spectacular rise and congratulates him without resentment. Their friendly contact deepens as Osmu celebrates Jack’s victories and joins the circle that gathers around him and Brock. (Chapters 335, 337, 346–347, 352–354, 356)

Osmu’s loyalty becomes consequential when the squad stays with Jack despite the risks attached to him. He explains the hidden-realm opportunity to Jack, stands with the other “bros” when the Cathedral marks Jack as a target, and commits to remaining at his side: “Once a bro, always a bro.” His standing is modest beside the Cathedral’s strongest disciples, but his merchant background gives him a distinct way to help. When Brock distributes Life Stones, Osmu volunteers to sell them, organizes a business with the remaining squad, and operates a trusted stall. By the next month he raises the price to two Dao stones, allowing the squad to fund chamber rentals and cultivation. Later he runs a betting stall for Jack’s public challenge, using the reputation earned from the Life Stone business to convince people that he can pay their winnings. (Chapters 361, 363, 367, 369–371)
