Biography
Protecting his faction and choosing to fight
Great Silver is introduced as a silver dragon whose Dao and aura carry the weight of the world. He finds Jack and Brock in the Dark Canal after they escape danger and offers Jack a place in his faction, while directing them toward the Canal Delve. He asks them to follow the Elders’ route and warns that defying the group could be fatal. His caution reflects the looming conflict between the Great Silver and Fiend King factions and the need to preserve capable cultivators rather than waste them in unnecessary fights (Chapters 520–524).
During the delve, Great Silver and Fiend King secretly work together to open the Hall’s deeper defenses. When the plan creates danger for the disciples, he helps contain it and later negotiates for the Stone Scholar’s return. After Fiend King dies, Great Silver claims the authority of the world’s remaining Overlord, though he allows Jack and Brock to come and go. He then chooses to follow Jack’s lead rather than the Church’s: if Jack fights, Great Silver will fight too. As the Immortal war reaches its climax, he joins Truth at the front and detonates his inner world to drive back the Heaven Immortal. His fate after that sacrifice is not shown (Chapters 531, 537–539, 546, 549, 551, 556).
Appearance and personality
Great Silver is a huge silver dragon with scales, whiskers, sharp teeth, and claws. His presence is described as deep and irreproachable. He is measured and protective of his faction, but he is willing to risk himself when his world’s future is at stake (Chapters 520, 551).
Abilities and cultivation
Great Silver is an Overlord and later appears among the Archons fighting the Immortals. His enormous Dao presence can help conceal and protect the Great Silver disciples; he works with Fiend King to establish a hidden enchantment around the Hall of Trials. In the final battle, he and Truth detonate their inner worlds in a combined attack powerful enough to fling the Heaven Immortal backward. Great Silver’s survival after this act is unknown (Chapters 531, 537, 556).
