Fiend King

Fiend King is one of the two Overlords of the Space Monster World and father of Fiend Prince. His faction’s rivalry with Great Silver shapes the Canal Delve, while his fight with Jack Rust and Brock ends with his reported death and the absorption of his faction by Great Silver.

Biography

Rivalry, the Delve, and the final confrontation

Fiend King is a proud and forceful Overlord who represents one of the two dominant factions of the Space Monster World. He competes with Great Silver over resources and status, but the two cooperate when a greater threat demands it. In the Dark Canal, Fiend King arrives with his faction’s disciples, speaks with Great Silver, and later joins him in a hidden ritual at the Hall of Trials. His son, Fiend Prince, serves as his head disciple and is regarded as a future leader of the faction (Chapters 498, 520–521, 531, 537).

Fiend King later pursues the Golden Earth Lotus and confronts Jack and Brock. They fight him in the pyramid, and Fiend King is forced to retreat after Jack and Brock withstand his attacks. The next time Great Silver speaks of him, Fiend King has perished; Great Silver has become the world’s remaining Overlord, and Fiend King’s followers now serve under him. The source does not show the final circumstances of Fiend King’s death (Chapters 538–539, 546).

Appearance and personality

Fiend King is a large, muscular, gray-skinned humanoid with claws, sharp teeth, and a thick tail. He is competitive and confident, and his booming voice emphasizes his authority. He is also willing to cooperate with Great Silver when their shared interests require it (Chapters 498, 520, 538).

Abilities and cultivation

Fiend King is an Overlord with enough strength to resist Jack’s attacks and threaten both Jack and Brock in direct combat. He uses powerful physical strikes and a long, muscular tail. During the battle, Jack and Brock manage to force him to retreat, but his full power system and the circumstances of his eventual death remain unknown (Chapters 520, 539, 546).
