Biography

From Guide to Expedition Leader

Owlhead first meets Jack and Brock on the island above the Dark Canal. He warns them that the Fiend King faction’s patrol on the other side could have killed them, then leads them to Elder Puerto and the other cultivators. When the factions later assemble an expedition, Owlhead takes command of Great Silver’s side. He gives the group a clear plan: search for the Hall of Trials’ Dao ripples, avoid ordinary resource gathering, and do not expect rescue if they leave the group. (Chapters 518–521)

Owlhead and the other elders eventually risk themselves against an elemental guarding an Overlord treasure. In the chaos of that fight, Jack waits for Owlhead’s attention to be fixed on the elemental, slips behind him, and strikes with a black-hole attack. Owlhead is killed instantly. His death turns the expedition into a scramble among Shadowhound, the disciples, Jack, and Brock for control of the treasure. (Chapters 525–526)

Appearance and personality

Owlhead is described as a monster with a muscular build. He carries himself calmly and speaks in a neutral, direct manner. He warns Jack that the group will not save anyone who breaks away, but later steps between Jack and Shadowhound’s attack, showing that he will intervene when he judges it necessary. (Chapters 521, 524, 527)

Owlhead is a middle A-Grade elder of the Great Silver faction. He can sense the Dao ripples that reveal the Hall of Trials’ location when the group is nearby.
