Axelor

Axelor is the Old God of Entropy and sibling of Enas, the God of Life. His gift of individuality makes death possible, but his later manipulation of the Ancients and Immortals helps ignite the war that divides the universe.

Biography

The God who gave life a separate self

Axelor studies the living beings Enas created and senses that they lack individuality. He gives humans an apple that separates them into individuals, introducing conflict and death into a species that had existed as one collective. Axelor initially treats this as a discovery about his own domain, but he later uses the same gift to influence human leaders, turn the Ancients against Enas, and manipulate the Immortals into starting a war. When the Immortals’ crusade threatens the Old Gods, Axelor summons his siblings, then accuses Enas of causing the crisis and persuades the others to seal him away. His actions help establish the Immortals’ rule and a long era of conflict (Chapters 283–284).

In the present, Axelor interferes with Jack’s breakthrough because of the Life Drop and later fights him in the God realm. Jack’s victory leaves the way open for the final conflict, where Axelor’s main body is destroyed and his power joins Enas’s. A separate clone of Axelor remains in the Hall of Trials. After Jack releases it, the clone adjusts to its main body’s loss and stays in the Space Monster World, helping train its younger generations. This is Axelor himself in a separate body, not a second independent god (Chapters 224, 408, 535–537, 551–557, 559–560).

Appearance and personality

Axelor’s divine body is a planet-sized sphere of darkness with tentacles, while the Hall of Trials contains a smaller mortal shell: a dark young man with a human mind. The mortal version is curious, playful, and willing to trade questions with Jack after their fight. His divine form carries a more distant, overwhelming presence. His history shows a calculating and manipulative side, though he also appears capable of regret and change in the more limited perspective of his clone (Chapters 283, 536, 551, 560).

Abilities and cultivation

Axelor is the Old God of Entropy, a being at the highest end of the Archon realm. His divine body’s dark tentacles carry the power of Archons, and his entropy can age and weaken opponents on contact. In his mortal shell at the Hall of Trials, he cannot cover an unlimited area with darkness; Jack reasons that the shell’s available energy limits how broadly Axelor can spread its effect. Jack defeats this version, and the two speak afterward (Chapters 535–536, 551).

Axelor also uses Entropy to interfere with Jack’s cultivation, summon a tribulation, and manipulate space during the war. His main body later joins the other Old Gods in the final confrontation. When Enas absorbs Axelor’s power, he says he has taken Axelor’s tricks and uses Entropy to counter Jack’s black holes. The clone that remains after this fusion can no longer represent the full power of the original body (Chapters 224, 408, 559–560).
