Man as Before

Man as Before is Tai Bai Yun Sheng's time path Gu for restoring a person's body toward an earlier condition. It first appears as a mortal Gu and later becomes an Immortal Gu, paired in Tai Bai Yun Sheng's repertoire with Landscape as Before. (Chapters 533–534 and 672)

Restoration

The Gu can reverse recent bodily damage when activation conditions are met, which makes it a rare healing and rescue method. It does not grant unconditional immortality: timing, the target's surviving state, immortal essence, and interference from other methods affect whether restoration is possible. (Chapters 534 and 1381)

Its value makes it a target in negotiations and attempts to recover Immortal Gu after control of Shadow Sect's assets changes. A compound killer move called man as before is used much later, but the latest scenes do not clearly settle the original Gu's independent custody. (Chapters 1077 and 2215)
