Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus

Heavenly Essence Treasure Imperial Lotus is the immortal advancement of Heavenly Essence Treasure Lotus and the core Gu associated with Genesis Lotus Immortal Venerable. The mortal flower produces primeval stones or essence, while its immortal forms supply immortal essence and occupy a place among the most valued support Gu. (Chapters 163 and 308)

Refinement and use

The lotus is valuable less as a direct attack than as an enduring source of the essence required to activate other Immortal Gu and formations. Its rank and output can be raised through refinement, but the materials and success risk make higher forms difficult to obtain or purchase. (Chapters 1200 and 2119)

Fang Yuan eventually refines the lotus to rank nine after building large-scale refinement infrastructure. At that rank it is one of his three confirmed rank-nine Immortal Gu and must still be fed, preserving the normal maintenance burden even at venerable level. (Chapters 2234 and 2292)
