Tie Ruo Nan

Tie Ruo Nan is the daughter of Divine Investigator Tie Xue Leng, a Tie clan young master, and the mortal successor to the Iron Mask true inheritance. She begins by assisting her father's investigation on Qing Mao Mountain, then dedicates herself to punishing Fang Yuan after Tie Xue Leng's death. Her A-grade aptitude, enslavement methods, and later Iron Mask techniques make her one of Southern Border's strongest rank-five Gu Masters, but she has not become immortal within the scope.

Biography

Investigation on Qing Mao Mountain

Tie Ruo Nan accompanies Tie Xue Leng to investigate Jia Jin Sheng's death and quickly demonstrates that she is more than an attendant. She interviews witnesses, reconstructs motives, and tests accounts against physical details, sharing her father's conviction that hidden crimes can be made legible through disciplined inquiry. Her youth makes her eager for decisive moral conclusions, while Tie Xue Leng supplies the experience that checks premature certainty. (Chapters 170–180)

Fang Yuan deliberately manipulates the clues and his public persona, causing the investigation to circle around truths it cannot safely prove. Tie Ruo Nan nevertheless identifies inconsistencies and grows suspicious of the Gu Yue clan's secrets. The case expands into the first ancestor's blood-path scheme and Qing Mao Mountain's destruction, where Tie Xue Leng dies and Fang Yuan escapes beneath another identity. (Chapters 181–203)

The loss makes justice personal. Tie Ruo Nan inherits neither her father's strength nor a completed verdict, only the belief that Fang Yuan caused crimes that institutions failed to punish. Tie clan young master and San Cha Mountain

Backed by A-grade aptitude and Tie clan resources, Tie Ruo Nan becomes one of the clan's eight young masters and reaches rank four initial stage. She recruits Tie Dao Ku and leads a coordinated Tie clan group to San Cha Mountain. In battle she uses enslavement path rather than imitating her father's methods, creating rattan-shell grass soldiers whose numbers grow dangerous when given preparation time. Fang Yuan attacks the formation's leader directly because a prepared enslavement cultivator can win through attrition. Tie Ruo Nan survives the clash, then learns from Tie Mu Bai while waiting for a second opportunity. Her response to defeat is patience and organization: she accepts that hatred alone cannot bridge a tactical gap and builds a plan around allies, formations, and Bai Ning Bing's knowledge of Fang Yuan. He reverses the situation by refining Fixed Immortal Travel and escaping; Tie Ruo Nan never refines the seized Gu, so the moment is a failed capture rather than a second-aperture advancement. Iron Mask succession and the immortal divide

Years later, Tie Ruo Nan passes the final test of a killer move taught by Tie Mian Shen. He accepts her as successor to the Iron Mask true inheritance, which requires both investigative ability and a heart of justice. She views the inheritance as a path to surpass her father, become immortal, and gain enough strength to reward good and punish evil. At this stage, those are declared goals rather than accomplished ascension. (Chapter 1340)

During the smoky warm jade field contest, she fights Ye Fan with battle strength far beyond ordinary rank five. Iron Mask Equipment gathers black smoke into a defensive mask capable of meeting his Aurora Bird directly; the mortal move derives from an immortal version whose core she does not possess. Tie Mian Shen confirms her as his inheritor while also describing her as young and still in need of training. (Chapters 1532–1533)

Fang Yuan's arrival then destroys her remaining assumption that a renowned righteous immortal can simply enforce justice. Tie Mian Shen admits that he is not Fang Yuan's match and prepares to die merely to protect the mortals. Tie Ruo Nan, still a mortal, can only watch as the enemy she hates stands beyond her reach. Tie Ruo Nan is a determined young woman whose alert gaze and firm bearing reflect both investigator and fighter. As she matures into a Tie clan young master, armor and disciplined posture replace the less experienced appearance of her first case. Iron Mask Equipment forms a thin black mask of smoke over her face during combat, visually associating her with Tie Mian Shen without making it a permanently worn object. She is analytical, courageous, intensely moral, and increasingly uncompromising. Her commitment to evidence begins under her father's guidance, but grief turns Fang Yuan into the fixed target against which she measures justice. At rank four, Tie Ruo Nan uses rank-three Grass Puppet Gu to create rattan-shell grass soldiers. Iron Mask true inheritance

Tie Ruo Nan passes Tie Mian Shen's test and learns a mortal form of Iron Mask Equipment. Black smoke condenses over her face and body to resist powerful attacks, while the immortal version can use an Immortal Gu core and combine with further methods. She is the designated successor, not the complete immortal inheritor: the story does not give her Tie Mian Shen's Justice Immortal Gu, rank-seven cultivation, or full immortal killer-move set. Fang Yuan

Fang Yuan is Tie Ruo Nan's unresolved suspect, father's killer in her understanding, and enduring enemy. He respects her will enough to want her eliminated early, defeats her San Cha Mountain coalition, and later grows beyond the reach of her mortal cultivation. Their conflict turns her ideal of justice into a lifelong pursuit while repeatedly exposing the distance between proof, authority, and power. (Chapters 180–203, 304, 358–405, and 1536)

Bai Ning Bing

Bai Ning Bing gives Tie Ruo Nan the truth about Fang Yuan's identity and becomes the inside partner in the San Cha Mountain trap. Their cooperation is founded on overlapping interests rather than trust: Tie Ruo Nan wants judgment, while Bai Ning Bing wants freedom from Fang Yuan. Tie Mian Shen
