Yi Muzi

Yi Muzi is a green-robed senior cultivator whose wood-based realm techniques make him one of the strongest participants caught in the Moongazer Serpent crisis. His original mission inside the serpent gives way to a struggle against the void's suppression, and he later reappears as the servant of an unidentified old man. (Chapters 934–946 and 1396)

Biography

Entering the Moongazer crisis

Yi Muzi arrives as the Moongazer Serpent swallows cultivators into its sealed interior. A casual palm produces a roaring storm, and giant wood techniques let him contest Wudo Chan while pursuing a deeper objective assigned by the head elder of his family or faction. He is experienced enough to recognize that the serpent's interior is not ordinary space and disciplined enough to keep the mission ahead of his personal quarrel. (Chapters 934 and 936–938)

Battle under suppression

Inside the void, the surrounding seal continuously drains origin energy. Yi Muzi rotates three purple logs to slow that loss, but Ji Xiantian—already transformed into an ancient-god-powered puppet—moves too quickly for ordinary spells to track. Ji Xiantian penetrates the rotating defense and injures him. As Yi Muzi's cultivation falls from its peak toward late Nirvana Cleanser, he sacrifices one purple log to create a fifty-kilometer independent realm and tries to force the group into cooperation. Defeating the puppet

Once Wang Lin's Stop spell catches Ji Xiantian, Yi Muzi compresses a giant log into a wooden sword. The sword pierces the puppet from head through body and detonates internally while Wudo Chan and the golden dragon strike at the same instant. The combined assault destroys Ji Xiantian's body. By then the void has reduced Yi Muzi still further, eventually leaving him around the Nirvana Scryer level, but he continues forward rather than abandoning the head elder's task. (Chapters 939–941)

Lost in the void

Yi Muzi enters deeper into the Moongazer Serpent, where seven-colored gas accelerates the loss of origin energy. He does not return with Wang Lin and Qing Shui, and his whereabouts remain unknown immediately after the crisis. Much later he appears beside Wudo Chan and the dead Ji Xiantian as one of three servants following a white-robed old man whose face resembles a yin-yang symbol. The text does not explain whether Yi Muzi serves willingly, through possession, or under compulsion. (Chapters 942, 946, and 1396)

Appearance and personality

Yi Muzi is an older man in green robes with calm eyes. He begins composed and mission-focused, but the void's escalating suppression forces increasingly costly decisions. He can be competitive and secretive, yet he accepts cooperation when Ji Xiantian becomes a common threat. His willingness to burn a treasured purple log and continue after severe cultivation loss suggests deep commitment to the task he was given. (Chapters 934 and 936–941)

Abilities and cultivation

• Cultivation level: Yi Muzi begins around peak Nirvana Cleanser. The void rapidly dissipates his origin energy, dropping him through late Nirvana Cleanser and eventually toward Nirvana Scryer; those reductions are environmental, not evidence that his normal realm was lower. (Chapters 936 and 939–942)
• Storm palm: A palm movement becomes a roaring storm capable of dominating the surrounding space and announcing the force behind his arrival. (Chapter 934)
• One Wood, One Realm: A finger-sized green log expands and releases green gas to isolate an area as Yi Muzi's own realm. Early use opens a three-breath opportunity to bypass an obstacle; a later sacrificial use consumes one purple log to seal roughly fifty kilometers. (Chapters 936 and 939)
• Three-purple-log defense: Three logs rotate around him as an almost airtight barrier. They slow the void's suppression and deflect attacks, but Ji Xiantian's exceptional physical speed finds a gap before Yi Muzi can complete another spell. (Chapters 938–939)
• Wooden sword transformation: Yi Muzi can enlarge a log to roughly one thousand feet, compress it into a sword, drive it through a target, and explode it from within. The technique helps destroy the Ji Xiantian puppet only because Wang Lin first stops its movement and several experts attack together. (Chapter 939)

Relationships

• Wudo Chan: Initial rival inside the Moongazer crisis and later fellow servant of the yin-yang-faced old man. They cooperate against Ji Xiantian when survival requires it. (Chapters 936–939 and 1396)
• Ji Xiantian: Ancient-god-powered puppet who wounds Yi Muzi and is later pierced by his wooden sword. (Chapter 939)
