Biography

Waiting in the Demon Spirit Land

Wang Wei and Hu Juan, the Celestial Cloud Cultivation Couple, enter the Demon Spirit Land with the All-Seer and Ling Tianhou and remain there for tens of thousands of years. They occupy and study one of Qing Lin's false celestial caves, amassing treasures while waiting for the conditions needed to restore the Celestial Spirit Heaven Realm and their teacher. Wang Wei's inspection of a restriction hidden in living grass first draws his attention to Wang Lin: he initially assumes only ten thousand years of experience could produce its layered truth and falsehood, then loses a bet with Hu Juan when its creator proves much younger. The discovery makes him curious rather than hostile. (Chapters 641–659 and 1011–1012)

Zhou Yi and Qing Shuang's fate

The couple shelters Zhou Yi's sword spirit and gives him the Immortal Spirit Method, hoping to understand what happened to Qing Shuang without violating her memory through soul search. When Zhou Yi identifies Wang Lin as both old friend and benefactor, Wang Wei supplies progressively rarer celestial pills in exchange for the full story. Learning that Zhou Yi burned his soul to protect Qing Shuang changes Wang Wei's attitude from amused distance to respect. He apologizes for treating the sword spirit as a subject of investigation and accepts Wang Lin as an ally tied to his teacher's family. (Chapters 998, 1012, and 1051–1053)

Conflict in Qing Lin's cave

Within the reopened celestial cave, Wang Wei and Hu Juan reject the Brilliant Void Cultivation Alliance's claims and assist Wang Lin against its experts and the All-Seer's avatars. Wang Wei's status and cultivation let him dismiss Master Void's institutional authority, while the couple's coordinated spells pressure opponents whom ordinary cultivators cannot face. Their choices are governed by Qing Lin's legacy: they protect Zhou Yi, preserve Qing Shuang's interests, and cooperate with Wang Lin once his goals align with reviving the Celestial Emperor. The relationship becomes familiar enough that Wang Wei later performs a sneak attack at Wang Lin's request, complaining mainly that the act is embarrassing for a senior. Restoring Qing Lin and the Rain Celestial Realm

Wang Wei carries Qing Lin's body into the collapsing Rain Celestial Realm and guides the group to a temple hidden beneath overlapping fragments. He and Hu Juan can suppress its golden lock for only one breath, creating the opening needed to rescue the Azure Dragon Divine Emperor and continue. Inside the temple, Wang Wei contributes his cultivation without hesitation when Qing Lin's spell requires it. The teacher awakens and acknowledges that the couple's countless years of waiting were repayment for the new life, cultivation path, and marriage he gave them. Qing Lin then reforms the Rain Celestial Realm, where Wang Wei and Hu Juan settle in a palace together. (Chapters 1110–1121)

Appearance and personality

Wang Wei is a handsome man who looks young despite tens of thousands of years of life. Pride remains deep in his eyes, but his ordinary manner is easygoing, humorous, and openly affectionate toward Hu Juan. Restrictions transform that ease into intense concentration. He enjoys wagers, teases his partner, and admires ingenious work even from a junior. His composure breaks only around Qing Lin's restoration, when gratitude and relief leave him kneeling in tears. Abilities and cultivation

Celestial restrictions

Wang Wei claims expertise in seeing through all celestial restrictions and demonstrates it by locating artificial liquid hidden inside a real blade of grass. He distinguishes low-level restrictions placed in air from higher methods embedded in objects and argues that the true requirement is mentality—the ability to scheme through truth and falsehood—rather than raw talent. In Qing Lin's cave he removes alchemy-room restrictions with a wave and pairs mist with Hu Juan's ghostly restriction arrays to open a golden lock. The lock yields for only one breath and then forces them back, showing that even their combined mastery cannot permanently defeat the Celestial Emperor's highest formations. Divination and spatial methods

Wang Wei practices divination below the All-Seer's level but can calculate Greed's location, the timing required to retrieve a token, and likely connections among Wang Lin, Zhou Yi, and the cave. His reasoning mixes spell calculation with observation: Wang Lin's movement through restrictions lets him infer prior knowledge, while Zhou Yi's conduct confirms a hidden bond. He also reaches through spatial cracks to retrieve pills and stored bodies, moves on celestial clouds, and uses green mist to strip debris from overlapping Rain Realm fragments. These methods excel at navigation and preparation; they do not make every reading exact, as his lost wager over Wang Lin's age illustrates. (Chapters 642, 1012, 1051–1052, and 1115)

Coupled combat and cultivation transfer

Wang Wei and Hu Juan have cultivation comparable to major figures such as the All-Seer and are more dangerous together because their techniques interlock. They jointly attack the All-Seer's avatars, restrain high-level formations, and can intervene in battles among Nirvana Shatterer powers. Their partnership is a mechanical advantage as well as a relationship: Hu Juan lays restrictions while Wang Wei divides mist around each one, synchronizing keys and pressure for a narrow opening. When Qing Lin requires cultivation to operate through Wang Lin, Wang Wei turns himself into light and enters without hesitation. The transfer temporarily leaves the couple pale, indicating that supplying a Celestial Emperor-scale spell is costly even for them. (Chapters 641, 1054–1076, 1113, and 1117–1120)
