Lei Ji

Lei Ji is a Giant Demon Clan branch leader who passes from imprisonment and attempted bargaining into genuine service under Wang Lin. His immense body becomes the group's interstellar mount, while his willingness to sacrifice that body for a companion reveals how far his loyalty develops beyond the coerced arrangement that first joins them. Biography

Captive branch leader

The Corpse Sect captures Lei Ji after he is wounded in the Giant Demon Clan's war with the Forsaken Immortal Clan. A parasitic plant drains him while he remains confined. When Wang Lin discovers him, Lei Ji proudly identifies himself as a branch leader and tries to purchase freedom by promising service, Heaven-Opening Metal, and Giant Demon bone marrow. Wang Lin distrusts the salesmanship, takes blood for his own research, and leaves him imprisoned rather than accept an unreliable bargain. (Chapter 438)

Freedom and a binding choice

When Wang Lin returns centuries later, he can finally remove the plant, including the powerful divine sense embedded within it. Lei Ji is freed only because Wang Lin has grown strong enough to solve the danger that once made rescue impractical. Lei Ji then offers heart blood and accepts Wang Lin as master, converting his earlier promise into a binding act. He shrinks his thousands-foot body to a form roughly thirty feet tall and becomes the traveling support for Wang Lin's group. (Chapters 898–912)

Service, injury, and sacrifice

Lei Ji's hope is personal as well as loyal: Wang Lin's rise may one day help him retake planet Giant Demon. He carries the group across space, endures the dangers surrounding Wang Lin, and remains wary of punishments such as the Celestial Sealing Stamp's eighteen hells. When an ancient devil spell destroys half his body, Big Head saves him; soon afterward, Lei Ji spends what remains of that body to intercept an All-Seer avatar's attack for Big Head. Hollow Wind preserves his nearly dispersed origin soul, allowing him to heal and reunite with Wang Lin. (Chapters 907–1000 and 1069–1091)

Search for a missing master

After Wang Lin disappears, Lei Ji does not treat the broken chain of command as release. He leaves the Rain Celestial Realm with Big Head to search for him, preserving the bond by choice rather than compulsion. His latest cited action is therefore a departure on that search, not a confirmed death. (Chapter 1534)

Appearance and personality

Lei Ji's natural Giant Demon body reaches thousands of feet, though he can compress it to a roughly thirty-foot humanoid form. He begins proud, calculating, and eager to leverage his clan's resources. Service makes his loyalties less transactional: fear remains part of his behavior, but he risks bodily destruction for a fellow follower and searches for Wang Lin after hope of immediate reward has vanished. Giant Demon body and travel

Lei Ji's enormous body supplies exceptional strength, endurance, and mobility. He can change size, carry multiple cultivators, and cross interstellar distances or hostile regions that ordinary bodies cannot traverse as safely. This makes him strategically valuable even when his cultivation is below the enemies Wang Lin later faces: his body is transportation, shelter, and a physical weapon at once. Bloodline and heart blood

Giant Demon blood carries a trace of ancient-god-like aura, making it useful to Wang Lin's Ancient God techniques and experiments. Lei Ji can offer heart blood as a bond to a master, giving the recipient leverage over him and turning an oral pledge into a cultivation-level submission. Durability, sacrifice, and limits

Lei Ji survives long imprisonment and remains able to fight after severe wounds, but his body is not indestructible. An ancient devil spell destroys half of it, and blocking the All-Seer's avatar consumes what remains and nearly disperses his origin soul. Rescue by Big Head and Hollow Wind is essential.
