Huan Wuqing
Huan Wuqing is the second-step ancestor of the Huan family who adopts Liu Mei in order to cultivate and eventually devour her incomplete Heavenly Devil domain. His attempt to protect that investment from Wang Lin fractures his family, exhausts its ancestral defenses, and ends with his origin soul consumed by Wang's scattered devil. (Chapters 683–688)
Biography
Investment in Liu Mei
Huan Wuqing brings Liu Mei from the Alliance Star System to planet Thousand Illusion as his adopted daughter and disciple, giving her the name Huan Mei. He alters her bloodline and forcibly raises her to peak late Ascendant, damaging his own cultivation in the process. The generosity is calculated: he intends to keep her below the second step, wait for her Ten Thousand Illusion Heavenly Devil Dao to mature, and then devour it to complete the Huan family's Identityless Heavenly Devil Dao. (Chapters 684 and 687)
When Wang Lin comes for Liu Mei, Huan Wuqing tries to mobilize family allies and the Huan protection formation. His old friend Qian Kuizi withdraws after mistaking Wang for a Thunder Celestial Temple messenger, and family head Huan Fengshen refuses to risk the clan for Huan Wuqing's private plan. The ancestor condemns the defectors and activates the ancestral Good Fortune Jade on his own. (Chapters 683–685)
Final battle and devouring
The celestial spell stored in the jade is powerful enough to gather the planet's spiritual energy and form an ancestral figure, but Wang's fully awakened scattered devil extracts the planet soul and destroys it. With the last defensive screen collapsing, Huan Wuqing accepts Liu Mei's incomplete domain and origin soul after promising to kill Wang or deliver her bag if he fails. (Chapters 685–688)
The absorption restores much of the cultivation Huan Wuqing had spent on Liu Mei and lets him produce a sliver of the Identityless Heavenly Devil Dao. He dissolves his body and origin soul into identityless illusions, but the scattered devil recognizes them as nourishment and devours the manifestations. When Huan Wuqing tries to reform and escape, it consumes the remaining origin soul, killing him permanently. (Chapter 688)
Appearance and personality
Huan Wuqing is an old family authority with a cold, gloomy manner. He is secretive, controlling, and willing to damage both Liu Mei's future and his family's security for a long cultivation scheme. His refusal to abandon that investment even after his own descendants withdraw exposes pride and obsession stronger than clan loyalty. (Chapters 683–688)

Second-step cultivation and bloodline alteration
Huan Wuqing is a second-step cultivator, though the supplied chapters do not name his exact substage. He can use planetary-scale divine sense and spend his cultivation to change Liu Mei's bloodline and accelerate her realm. That forced advancement has a hard limit: it leaves her domain behind her realm and confines her future to the Yin and Yang stage, which is precisely how he plans to keep her controllable. Incomplete Identityless Heavenly Devil Dao
The Huan family's true inheritance combines the Heavenly Devil Dao and Identityless Dao. Huan Wuqing cannot complete it alone. After devouring Liu Mei's incomplete domain, he gains only a sliver: his body melts, his origin soul approaches nonexistence, and numerous illusions appear, each carrying at least Yin-and-Yang-stage pressure. A complete user would become an identityless heavenly devil by collecting the evil intent of living beings. Ancestral defenses
Huan Wuqing commands the Huan family's large protection formation and activates the one-use Good Fortune Jade. The jade stores a celestial ancestor's spell, transforms the planet's spiritual energy into celestial energy, and leaves a final barrier when destroyed.
