Heidi Morgan

Heidi Morgan is the Bloodfang Association's leader, using protection of persecuted witches to build a coercive faction aimed at restoring her family's power. (Chapters 530 and 597)

Biography

Converting protection into control

Heidi's fighters help Wolfheart witches survive Church pursuit, earning loyalty that Sleeping Island cannot instantly replace. She chooses to turn that dependence into political power: assistant witches are demeaned, unwanted recruits are discarded, and Iffy and Softfeathers are sent west as instruments of her plans. Her later confession reveals that the association's ultimate purpose was to help her father seize Wolfheart's throne. (Chapters 530–532, 589, and 597)

Refusing the last chance to yield

When Annie's arrival risks exposing Bloodfang's crimes, Heidi orders a delayed magical murder and walks into Tilly's trap. Even after Andrea's shot ends the escape, Heidi spends her last magic trying to crush her captors from within rather than surrender. God's Stone protection blocks the attack; she is imprisoned, interrogated, and receives fatal punishment, while surviving Bloodfang witches begin dismantling the hierarchy she imposed. (Chapters 590–597 and 617)

Appearance and personality

The supplied chapters do not establish a detailed lasting portrait. Heidi is proud, class-conscious, and strategically patient until cornered; then contempt and refusal to lose drive her into a desperate attack even when defeat is certain. (Chapters 589–591)

Magic and abilities

Her Power of Pulverizing can collapse hollow objects, including vessels and living body cavities, from within at a range of roughly ten steps. It is lethal but still magic: a God's Stone disperses the effect, and her injuries and restraints prevent her from freely choosing position or target. (Chapters 591 and 596)

Relationships

Iffy and Nightfall serve Heidi under a loyalty shaped by rescue and deception. Tilly Wimbledon rejects Heidi's combat-witch hierarchy, while Annie's survival exposes the crimes Heidi tries to conceal. (Chapters 530, 590–597, and 617)
