Guelz Burnflame

Guelz Burnflame is a Wildflame clan chief and Mojin leader.

Biography

A chief accepts a wider order

Guelz leads Wildflame within Iron Sand City's brutal hierarchy and watches his daughter Lorgar pursue strength through holy duels. The clan's status pressures him to defend tradition, yet Lorgar's departure and the changing southern balance force him to consider survival beyond the arena. (Chapters 763, 782, and 832)

He later warns Neverwinter about southern factional conflict, supports a plan that avoids needless losses among smaller clans, and travels north without hiding his Mojin tattoos. His stated reason is personal as well as political: if Neverwinter cannot accept his appearance, it cannot be the equal home promised to his daughter. (Chapters 1032 and 1061–1066)

Appearance and personality

Guelz bears conspicuous Mojin facial tattoos and refuses northern clothing meant to disguise them. He is proud, martial, and initially rooted in clan hierarchy, but concern for Lorgar and weaker tribes makes that pride compatible with pragmatic change. (Chapters 763, 1032, and 1061)

Magic and abilities

Guelz has no magic. He demonstrates clan leadership, knowledge of holy-duel customs, political negotiation, and combat culture; his authority is strong within Wildflame but does not let him control every Southernmost faction. (Chapters 763, 782, 832, and 1032)

Relationships

Lorgar Burnflame is Guelz's daughter and the strongest pressure on his assumptions about the north. He negotiates with Roland Wimbledon's representatives and the Osha leadership as Wildflame enters the new southern order. (Chapters 782, 820, 832, 1032, and 1061–1066)
