Celine

Celine is a Taquila survivor whose carrier body and centuries of magical study make her one of Neverwinter's most energetic researchers. (Chapter 676)

Biography

A scholar in a carrier body

Celine survives Taquila by transferring into a carrier, losing an ordinary human form but preserving centuries of study. When contact with Roland opens access to new tools and recovered ruins, she presses for investigation rather than passive shelter. Her decision to risk the Great Snow Mountain expedition helps move Taquila's knowledge into a working alliance with Neverwinter instead of leaving it sealed underground. (Chapters 676, 735, and 739)

Learning from industry and accidents

In Neverwinter, Celine manages research records, studies magic cores, and applies flexible tentacles to precise repetitive work such as God's Stone ammunition. She also recognizes that industrial and political reach can matter more than isolated magical force. A cracked component in a replicated Magic Ceremony Cube changes its output; instead of dismissing the accident, she investigates it and helps turn the anomaly into improved power generation. (Chapters 992, 1043, 1140, and 1210)

Appearance and personality

Celine's current body is a large carrier with numerous flexible tentacles rather than a human figure. She is excitable, talkative, and intensely curious; stacks of books and multiple simultaneous tasks suit her enthusiasm, though that same enthusiasm can make her physically knock things about. (Chapters 676 and 1043)

Magic and abilities

Celine's demonstrated strengths come from her carrier body, mental communication, long experience with magic cores, and experimental engineering. Her tentacles permit parallel delicate work, but the body is cumbersome and cannot reproduce ordinary human life. Her discoveries still require prototypes, instruments, and repeated testing; the changed cube output begins as an accident, not a power she can simply command. (Chapters 676, 1043, 1140, and 1210)

Relationships

Pasha is Celine's fellow Taquila leader and research partner. Celine responds eagerly to Roland Wimbledon's new knowledge and facilities, and works with Anna and other Neverwinter specialists to connect ancient magic technology with reproducible engineering. (Chapters 676, 739, 992, and 1210)
