Yona
Yona is an Arcadia scout and archer whose gratitude to Aria becomes a lifelong vow of service. After surviving the city's destruction, she grows from a reserved hunter into one of the Liberation Empire's empowered fighters, Drake's wife, and the companion who helps their resurrected friends accept the lives and losses that followed Arcadia. (Chapters 9, 68–69, 261, 412, and 448–450)
Biography
Arcadia party and vow of loyalty
Yona enters the Arcadia party as its serious, detail-oriented scout and ranged specialist. She is initially respectful but guarded toward the newcomer Ethan, and when he misses their first planned raid, she shares the group's displeasure. His apology and Lenora Emberion's advocacy persuade her to move on because survival in a dungeon requires mutual trust. Once inside the Rock Giants Cave, Yona accepts the rear-guard responsibility, watches for ambushes, and targets weak points so the frontline fighters can break otherwise durable enemies. Her choices show that she values formation discipline over personal attention or glory. (Chapters 9 and 43–47)
As the dungeon grows more dangerous, Yona adapts her fire to the party's changing needs. She uses homing and explosive arrows against Earth and Lava Golems, draws on Iris's strength enhancement to exploit cracks opened by the melee fighters, and accepts the temporary Lava Wave skill when the party divides its rewards. When Arcadia faces a beast assault, she voluntarily joins the defense even though her family is already sheltered, arguing that she must help protect them and avenge Marcus's loss. A near-invisible life-draining attack almost kills her, but Aengus Degaro pulls her clear, deepening a bond already formed through shared danger. (Chapters 47, 49, 52, and 59–64)
The battle reunites Yona with the person who had shaped her ambitions before the party existed. Three years earlier, Aria saved Yona's poor village and family during a beast rampage; Yona responded by promising herself that she would become strong enough to serve Aria's family for three generations. She now kneels and offers that service directly. Aria hesitates at the severity of the pledge, but Yona's resolve and Aengus's approval lead her to accept. The decision gives Yona a purpose beyond ordinary hunting: gratitude becomes chosen duty, and her relationship with Aria begins evolving from formal service toward friendship. (Chapters 68–69)
Follower of the new demon lord
Arcadia's destruction makes Yona's vow immediately costly. She survives with Aria and Drake while most of their companions and their city are lost, then accompanies the pair through the dangers that harden all three of them. When they reach the capital, Yona treats obtaining an S-Rank restorative potion for Aria's injured parents as their highest priority, placing her lady's family crisis above opportunities offered by the approaching Ancient Land expedition. Her service is therefore active rather than ornamental: she shares the survivors' travel, danger, and practical burdens while helping Aria continue after the catastrophe. (Chapter 129; Chapters 154 and 191)
In General Leon's household, Yona becomes both attendant and trusted companion. She respects Aria's authority, worries over her decisions, and helps with ordinary household responsibilities, yet she is comfortable enough to tease her and challenge the distance implied by their titles. That closeness matters because Aria remains fixed on the possibility that Ethan survived. Yona initially doubts repeated sightings, but she stays beside Aria rather than dismissing her grief. Her position after Arcadia is thus a balance of deference and emotional support, with Leon's home providing a temporary family for survivors who no longer have their old one. (Chapters 154–158 and 186–193)
When the Ancient Land finally reunites them with Aengus, Yona identifies him as Ethan despite his changed name and appearance. She is relieved by his survival but immediately remembers the companions who did not return. When Aria must follow him into a more dangerous trial, Yona admits that she is not strong enough to accompany them and chooses the useful responsibility instead: she remains with Drake and Delilah, promises that they will protect one another, and asks both Aria and Ethan to return alive. This acceptance of her limits keeps the remaining group intact and turns personal loyalty into practical protection. (Chapters 170–175 and 183–186)
War, empire, and reunion
Yona joins the Araknis forces alongside Drake and welcomes Aengus as their new captain without letting rank erase their old familiarity. She jokes with him and Aria, questions him when his retaliation against nobles seems excessive, and still obeys the military structure as war approaches. After Aengus declares himself emperor, her status changes from attendant and soldier to titled noble connected to the empress. She does not retreat into privilege: Yona remains near the front during the Kairos campaign, accompanies Aria to fight with the ground forces, and accepts further empowerment because contributing to the new order requires strength equal to its dangers. (Chapters 214–238 and 252–260)
Aengus first synthesizes Yona with an SS-rank corpse and confirms her as an S-rank powerhouse in Chapter 238. A later synthesis passage again describes her strength and skills rising to S-rank before he gives her Space Warp and Tempest Tiger's Lightning Veil, tools chosen for an archer's mobility and precision needs. She continues into the imperial capital, helps control human–demon hostility, and fights in her strongest available form during the final war. Her development is from rear-line support within six hunters to a high-powered combatant in region-spanning battles. (Chapter 238; Chapters 261–262, 294, and 340–345)
Peace changes Yona's responsibilities without weakening her loyalty. She and Drake become a couple known for battlefield synergy, and when Aengus leaves Mythraldor, she insists that their duty is to uphold his orders and legacy rather than surrender to grief. Years later she is fully mature, married, and pregnant. Drake asks Aengus for a family heirloom on their behalf, choosing a link to their shared history over a blessing of raw talent for the unborn child. Yona's place in the empire now joins soldier, wife, and future mother, giving the survivor of Arcadia the stable household her earlier life could not guarantee. (Chapters 343, 350, 412, and 438)
The revival of Arcadia forces Yona to confront what restoration can and cannot repair. She asks specifically about Cedric, Marcus, Iris, and Lenora, accepting that those already reincarnated should not be torn from their new lives. When Cedric and Iris return, she rushes to embrace Iris but carefully controls her greatly increased strength. Their grief over absent friends threatens to overwhelm the reunion, so Yona redirects them toward the fact that they are together again. Iris recognizes how much the once-quiet archer has changed; Yona answers that time, marriage, and impending motherhood have made her more open, completing her movement from reserved scout to the group's emotional mediator. (Chapters 448–450)
Appearance and personality
Yona is introduced as a slender sixteen-year-old with long hair described as velvet-like and striking violet eyes. She carries a sturdy bow and normally positions herself where she can watch the party's rear or support its frontline from range. After years of warfare she is described as fully mature, and her empowered body radiates visibly greater strength, though the corpus does not give a detailed account of changes to her face or build. By the latest family scenes, she is visibly pregnant. (Chapters 9, 44–45, 341, 412, and 438–450)
Her early manner is quiet, serious, calm, and respectful, but this reserve never means passivity. She chooses dangerous service for her family and friends, makes an unusually demanding vow to repay Aria, and acknowledges fear or weakness without allowing either to end her contribution. With safety and intimacy, a playful side becomes increasingly visible: she teases Aria and Aengus, punctures Drake's excitement, and later uses humor to release tension. Her compassion remains steady beneath that growth, particularly when she protects her surviving companions' morale and treats resurrected friends gently despite the immense difference in strength. (Chapters 9, 59–69, 186–221, 315, 343, and 448–450)
Skills, laws, and abilities
Yona's fighting style begins with reconnaissance and precision archery, then gains mobility and speed through Aengus's empowerment. She is most effective when identifying weak points, covering allies from the rear, and adapting her firing position while heavier fighters hold an enemy's attention. Later chapters establish S-rank strength and vastly greater battlefield scale, but they do not enumerate her complete skill list, formal class, mana reserves, firing range, or the exact form she uses in the final war. (Chapters 9, 44–49, 238, 261–262, and 345)
Precision archery and ranged support
Yona's foundational skill is disciplined bow use. She targets golem joints, eyes, and exposed cracks rather than trying to overpower their hardened bodies, and she can coordinate shots with melee attacks so allies capitalize on the stagger she creates. Arcane Seeker Arrow coats a shot in magical energy and homes toward a weak point, while her other imbued arrows can explode on impact and scatter groups of beasts. These techniques serve scouting, interruption, and focused damage, but their mana costs, effective distances, ammunition requirements, and ability to retarget after launch are not stated. (Chapters 44–49 and 60–62)
The Arcadia defense also establishes her limitations. When an external interference renders the archers' volleys ineffective, Yona follows the command to retreat and reforms with her original party rather than wasting shots. Her position exposes her to counterfire: she does not perceive the silent life-draining beam that nearly strikes her and survives because Aengus's Predator's Instinct warns him first. Later, while she can engage a giant flying enemy and unleash explosive barrages, the chapters do not show that her early defenses match her offensive precision. She relies on formation, awareness from allies, and movement to remain effective. (Chapters 60–64)
Space Warp and Lightning Veil
After Yona's S-rank attainment and later reinforcement, Aengus gives her two agility-focused abilities suited to an archer. Space Warp is an A-rank teleportation skill, providing a means to change position without crossing the intervening ground. Tempest Tiger's Lightning Veil is an A-rank enhancement that increases speed and precision. Their intended interaction is clear: teleportation can create a new firing angle or escape route, while the veil improves the movement and accuracy needed to exploit it. The corpus does not specify teleport range, cooldown, mana cost, targeting restrictions, or whether the veil protects against attacks. (Chapter 238; Chapters 261–262)
Yona later participates in continent-scale war and assumes her strongest form, defeating large numbers of both human and demon combatants in a single strike alongside the empire's other senior fighters. This demonstrates that her post-empowerment output far exceeds her Arcadia-era archery, but the scene does not identify the form, name the attack, or isolate which part of the effect comes from Space Warp, Lightning Veil, broader bodily enhancement, or the subsequent Primals' transformation. Her latest precise mastery of either named gift therefore remains unconfirmed even though her overall combat growth is explicit. (Chapters 341 and 345)
Temporary skills, scouting, and teamwork
In the Rock Giants Cave, Yona temporarily equips Lava Wave from the party's divided rewards because no better match remains. The skill occupies a replaceable slot rather than functioning like an inherited bloodline power, and the supplied chapters do not show Yona activating it or retaining it later. Her more durable competencies are observational: she watches rear approaches, calls warnings, tracks battlefield openings, and quickly reforms under command. Those habits also shape her later service, where she helps manage human–demon unrest and operates with Drake in a partnership described as having exceptional battlefield synergy. (Chapters 45, 52, 60–61, 340, and 412)

Relationships
- Aria: Aria saved Yona's family during a beast rampage, inspiring Yona to pledge three generations of service. Their formal mistress–attendant bond grows into close friendship, with Yona offering practical support, protection, worry, and increasingly fearless teasing. (Chapters 68–69, 129–193, and 214–450)
- Aengus Degaro: Aengus begins as Yona's party member, saves her from a hidden battlefield attack, and later becomes her captain and emperor. The group's destruction remains a lasting grief; when Cedric and Iris are revived, Yona welcomes them while accepting that Marcus and Lenora have already begun other lives through reincarnation. (Chapters 9–72 and 448–450)
- Delilah: Yona helps protect Delilah in the Ancient Land and later fights beside her in the Liberation Army. Their shared proximity to Aria develops into easy companionship and humor. (Chapters 154–175 and 214–253)
- Quin: Quin protects Yona and Drake during the war, creating mutual respect. The three later train, travel, and witness Aengus's transformations together as part of his senior circle. (Chapters 237–262 and 343–350)
Items
- Bow: Yona's sturdy bow is her primary weapon from the Arcadia expedition onward; it channels ordinary, homing, magical, and explosive arrows, but the corpus gives it no proper name or distinct item history. (Chapters 9, 44–49, and 61–62)
