Aamon's Bracelet

Aamon's Bracelet is a crimson divine artifact that covers its activated wearer in crimson armor and floods the body with exceptional power. Lilith steals it from Prince Jason during their tournament semifinal and turns his intended trump card against him, securing the bracelet for Andraste under her pre-match wager. (Chapters 623–624)

History

Jason's lost trump card

The bracelet belongs to Aamon's Temple and is issued to Prince Jason as a tournament artifact. Before his semifinal, Andraste wagers the Amazon treasure Gleipnir against the bracelet, and Emperor Leonidas agrees that she will keep it if Lilith wins. Jason then enters the match with the bracelet as a reserve artifact, but Lilith removes it from his wrist without his noticing and puts it on herself before he can reclaim it. (Chapters 623–624)

Lilith's transformation

Lilith activates the bracelet beside her war axe. Crimson armor immediately covers her body, and the resulting power allows her to stop Jason's sword between two fingers and throw him out of the arena with ease. She leaves the match as the victor while the bracelet remains in her possession. (Chapter 624)

Abilities and properties

  • Activation creates full-body crimson armor around the wearer. (Chapter 624)
  • Tournament observers state that the artifact can boost Jason to the Saint Rank. The only demonstrated activation is Lilith's, so the exact interaction with a wearer's starting rank is not specified. (Chapter 623)
  • It provides an enormous physical enhancement in its only documented scene: the transformed Lilith arrests a sword with two fingers and tosses Jason away. (Chapter 624)
  • The artifact does not appear to be locked to Jason, because Lilith can activate it immediately after taking it. (Chapter 624)
  • No appraisal states numerical bonuses, duration, cooldown, fuel, defensive threshold, or whether the armor grants abilities beyond physical enhancement.
