Yun You
Yun You is one of the four original cultivators who use the Xuan Family supreme treasure to enter Divine Essence Star Ocean and the Fifth Kiln. He contributes blood, cultivation, and divine sense to its collective body, but remains dependent on Su Ming as main soul and is eventually killed after the kiln scatters the group.
Biography
Divine Essence and Ecang
Yun You travels cautiously with Xuan Shang, Hua Yu, and Nian Yin, noticing the hostile presence in the galaxy before their reunion with Su Ming. He initially tries to flee when surprised, only for Xu Hui to block the route. Faced with overwhelming strength and the expedition's need for a capable main soul, he joins the activation of the Xuan Family treasure and fuses into the golden blood construct. (Chapters 957–966)
Inside the combined body, Yun You's power and senses become resources Su Ming can direct without his consent. Su Ming even sends a wisp of Yun You's divine sense into a suspicious relocation distortion, where it is devoured. Although the quartet fear Su Ming's increasingly oppressive presence, the dangers he defeats convince them that they need his protection more than he needs their construct. (Chapters 969–998)
The Fifth Furnace and Morning Dao
The supreme body weakens sharply after its strongest additional contributors separate, leaving the original four with only Solar Kalpa-level collective offense. When the kiln divides the expedition, Yun You is isolated. Su Ming later sees a Fire Spirit burn his body and devour his Nascent Divinity. This destroys both body and surviving spiritual core, providing the final source-grounded outcome of his expedition. (Chapters 1002–1019)
Appearance and personality
No distinctive physical description is preserved in the dossier. Yun You is cautious and alert to environmental danger, but comparatively slower than Xuan Shang and Hua Yu to recognize when flight is futile. His responses are dominated by survival pressure: he joins the construct for access and safety, fears Su Ming's control, and nevertheless accepts that remaining near him is the group's best chance.

Cultivation and Fleeing Blood
Yun You is a high-level cultivator able to use Fleeing Blood for rapid escape. Xu Hui intercepts him despite that technique, establishing that it does not overcome superior spatial movement or preparation. His precise personal realm is not stated in the selected evidence. (Chapters 957–962)
Supreme-treasure contribution
His blood activates the Xuan Family's golden construct, and his cultivation helps supply its collective body. With only Xuan Shang, Yun You, Hua Yu, and Nian Yin present, that body can at most contend with completed Solar Kalpa Realm; its higher feats require added souls and Su Ming's control. Pain or soul-targeting sound transmitted through the construct directly harms Yun You, so the defense does not isolate its contributors from spiritual attacks. (Chapters 966–1003)
Divine sense
Yun You's divine sense can be pooled into a dimension-wide search under the main soul. Su Ming can also detach and send a wisp of it forward, but Yun You cannot refuse and the wisp can be consumed by hidden danger. The ability is therefore useful reconnaissance with a direct cost to its contributor. (Chapter 983)
