Yerim
Yerim, full name Park Yerim and in-game ID Sexy Schoolgirl, is Sehee's closest friend and the player who becomes her Saintess' Knight. An academically gifted student with a playful and flirtatious public persona, she enters Satisfy beside Sehee and instinctively takes a soul doll's attack for her. The act unlocks an epic hidden class whose abilities become much stronger in the Saintess' presence, formalizing a protective bond that already exists in reality. Yerim later grows into a capable duo competitor, remains part of Grid's family and guild circle, and by the end helps at the internationally active Grid Foundation while continuing to approach life with humor. (Chapters 107, 175, 196, 198, 206–207, 223–224, 327–328, 494, 499, 827, 1182, 1414, 1582, and 2058)
Biography
Recurring role and later consequences
Yerim is introduced as one of the two most famous students at Young Ladies High School, combining exceptional mock-exam results with a beauty that attracts crowds. Her personality differs sharply from Sehee's: Yerim enjoys attention, speaks freely about attraction, and uses teasing to draw her reserved friend into conversation. Their friendship works because those differences do not undermine trust. Sehee is Yerim's only close friend and knows her family history, while Yerim treats Sehee as family even before either enters Satisfy. (Chapter 107)
The two begin Satisfy together as level-one players in Reinhardt. During the golem attack, a soul doll targets Sehee and Yerim pushes her aside without calculation, accepting the blow herself. The system recognizes the action as saving the unique Saintess and offers Yerim the epic hidden class Saintess' Knight. With Lauel's guidance, she completes the change. Its ordinary base abilities initially seem disappointing, but party bonuses tied to the Saintess make the class a direct mechanical expression of the friendship that produced it. (Chapters 196, 198, and 206–207)
Yerim continues to protect Sehee while developing her own combat role. By their first instant dungeon, she has reached a level where she can use Sacrifice for Saintess to redirect damage and has offensive power sufficient to hold back enemies. She and Sehee refuse to burden Grid, coordinate holy support, and later grow by hunting in the Galgunos Temple. Their decision to enter the National Competition only as a duo acknowledges that their strength is deliberately interdependent rather than pretending Yerim has the same performance alone. (Chapters 494, 499, and 1182)
Outside combat, Yerim becomes integrated into Youngwoo's family and the Overgeared community. She joins birthdays, guild gatherings, and Sehee's volunteer activities while retaining an irreverent fascination with romance and expensive cars. In the latest period, she assists at the Grid Foundation after its expansion into global aid and environmental work. She jokes about the marriage she never achieved, then leaves work laughing and reflects that her adult life has become joyful and full, giving her arc an outcome independent of the crush that dominated her adolescence. (Chapters 827, 1414, 1582, and 2058)
Appearance and personality
As a high-school student, Yerim has long eyelashes, a mole beneath her left eye, a thick lower lip, pale skin, and a mature-looking beauty that rivals celebrities. She is usually smiling and styles herself more boldly than Sehee. As an adult she remains appearance-conscious, drives an expensive sports car, and enjoys fashion and flirtation, but the corpus does not provide a later detailed physical redesign. (Chapters 107, 223–224, and 1414)
Yerim is outgoing, mischievous, observant, loyal, and more responsible than her provocative jokes suggest. She enjoys manipulating unwanted attention and frequently teases Sehee about romance, yet her first reaction to real danger is to protect her friend. She can recognize when her inexperience would burden Grid, works within a duo rather than claiming self-sufficiency, participates in volunteering, and remains close to the foundation's humanitarian work. (Chapters 107, 196, 198, 494, 1414, 1582, and 2058)
Abilities, classes, and skills
Yerim's Saintess' Knight class originates from sacrificing herself for Sehee during the golem attack. It is an epic hidden class with relatively low base abilities, moderate newly opened stats, and plain active skills. Its strength is conditional: while partied with the Saintess, all skill performance rises, stats increase, resistances improve, and defense gains an additional portion based on the Saintess' defense. This makes separation from Sehee the class's clearest mechanical limitation. (Chapters 198 and 207)
Sacrifice for Saintess redirects an attack aimed at Sehee to Yerim, reproducing the action that unlocked the class. Yerim also develops enough direct attack power to hold off enemies while the duo applies holy weapons, armor, impacts, and explosions through Sehee's support. Hunting together in the Galgunos Temple makes them strong enough for National Competition duo events, but the corpus does not attribute Sehee's holy spell kit to Yerim herself. (Chapters 494 and 1182)
Relationships
Sehee is Yerim's closest friend, chosen family, Saintess, and permanent combat partner. Yerim's instinctive sacrifice creates her class, and the resulting mechanics reward the two for remaining together. Their adult friendship retains the same pattern of teasing and loyalty, extending from school and Satisfy into volunteering and work at the Grid Foundation. (Chapters 107, 196, 198, 207, 494, 1182, 1414, and 2058)
Grid, whom Yerim calls Youngwoo oppa, is first the older brother she imagines romantically and later a guild leader and family friend. Grid protects the novice pair, manages Yerim's early quest earnings for future equipment, and takes them into higher-level content. Yerim's crush continues as a joke into adulthood, but her latest happiness and work no longer depend on winning him. (Chapters 107, 175, 198, 207, 223–224, 327–328, 494, 827, 1582, and 2058)
Lauel explains the class-change process and recognizes the strategic value of pairing a Saintess with her knight. He also advises Grid to manage the beginners' capital and eventually provide equipment, helping turn an accidental hidden-class opportunity into a sustainable place within Overgeared. (Chapter 207)
