Kasim

Kasim is the last survivor of the Nero people, a master assassin known as the King of Shadows, and the leader of the Overgeared Shadows. First hired to attack Grid, he instead watches Grid's growing power and secretly protects Irene and Lord. His hope of using the Overgeared forces against the Saharan Empire gradually becomes a genuine commitment to Lord, whose friendship gives Kasim a purpose beyond revenge. Biography

Reidan and the Overgeared Alliance

Kasim first appears as an assassin hired after an S-grade quest to help Shay's party take revenge on Grid. He moves through surrounding shadows, creates soldiers from them, and repeatedly attacks Huroi's weak points, but Grid's arrival and Doran's Ring make him withdraw rather than continue a pointless fight. He later observes Grid and begins guarding Irene and the infant Lord from concealment.
