Beriache

Beriache is a child of Yatan, a former great demon, and the progenitor of the direct-descendant vampires. Expelled from hell after opposing its corruption, she creates the Blood King project and Marie Rose as instruments of revenge, but her apparent sacrifice is later revealed as preparation to seize her daughter's body and reclaim her father's world for herself. Biography

Yangbans, Gods, and New Legends

Beriache recognizes that Yatan's destructive appearance conceals a different purpose and questions the order governing hell. Baal and Amoract expel her, while Yatan's curse of idleness suppresses the vampires who inherit her blood. She first designs the Blood King project so Fenrir can grow by defeating his siblings and join her revenge. When he refuses, she changes the qualification to any victor over the direct descendants and gives birth to Marie Rose, an heir stronger than herself, dying in the process. This version of events makes her death look like ultimate maternal sacrifice.
