Michael is Eden's strongest combat-specialist archangel, an “Evil” engineered to eradicate Evil whose repeated corruption exposes the violence beneath Absolute Good.
Biography
Eden's hard-line champion
Michael appears as an uncompromising defender of Eden's authority. He threatens Kim Dokja during negotiations and refuses to yield until another archangel intervenes, establishing a temper that turns institutional power into immediate violence. Eden nevertheless continues to treat him as its premier fighter, because no other archangel matches his pure combat ability. (Chapters 314–317)
The hunt for a corrupted archangel
During Archangel Hunting, Michael's destructive purpose consumes its own moral boundary. After entering Demon King Transformation and becoming a Corrupted Angel, he tears through constellations and incarnations without discrimination. His power approaches that of Poseidon or Hades, but defeat forces him into a cocoon that rebuilds his incarnation body while costing portions of memory. Yoo Joonghyuk finds him in that vulnerable cycle, making Michael's resurrection a mechanism of both persistence and erosion. (Chapters 350 and 356–368)
The massacre that preserves Good
On the battlefield of Good and Evil, Michael stands at the front of Eden's army and, with Metatron's tacit approval, turns his sword on Raguel. Killing a fellow archangel releases demonic aura and pushes his Status toward Myth-grade while increasing the Chaos Points. He declares that this atrocity will make “Good” remembered, revealing that loyalty to Eden's story has replaced any ordinary distinction between protection and slaughter. (Chapters 385 and 402–404)
Eden's collapse
Michael continues fighting as the Star Stream destabilizes, eventually losing half of his incarnation body. Ordinarily Eden could revive him, but the nebula itself is disappearing. The text leaves him approaching death and makes his usual resurrection conditional on an institution that may no longer exist. (Chapters 408 and 412)
Appearance and personality
Michael manifests as a male archangel and, after rebirth from his cocoon, reforms a nude incarnation body. Corruption surrounds him with purple fog and demonic aura. He is violent, proud, and gleeful in combat, even expressing regret that Uriel was not his first archangel victim. (Chapters 368 and 402)

Archangel combat and swordsmanship
Michael is stated to be unmatched among Eden's archangels in pure combat. He fights with a sword and can overwhelm ordinary angels before they mount a defense. His demonstrated scale reaches the vicinity of major Myth-grade powers, but that comparison concerns raw combat presence rather than identical authority or stories. (Chapters 315, 366, and 402)
Demon King Transformation and corruption
Demon King Transformation turns Michael into a Corrupted Angel, releasing demonic power and removing the practical restraint that separates Absolute Good from Evil. Killing fellow archangels further strengthens the corrupted form, driving his Status close to Myth grade. The form carries a severe psychological cost: he becomes lost to madness and attacks almost everything nearby. (Chapters 350, 366, and 402)
Cocoon resurrection
When killed during transformation, Michael forms a cocoon that creates a new incarnation body. Rebirth is relatively rapid, but each cycle removes part of his memory. Later narration adds a larger limitation: this revival depends on Eden's continued existence, so the nebula's destruction threatens to make his final injuries permanent. (Chapters 368 and 412)
