Ohjong

Ohjong is a Tiger Sword Clan cadet who remains with Chun Yeowun when most recruits leave and endures retaliation for that choice.

Biography

Staying with the seventh prince

Ohjong is one of three cadets who remain when most of Chun Yeowun's prospective faction withdraws. Like the others, he considers the danger of serving a prince opposed by the six great clans, but Yeowun's resolve persuades him to stay. His Tiger Sword Clan background does not provide the elite instruction enjoyed by the leading heirs, so the choice ties his academy future to whether Yeowun can turn a small collection of uneven cadets into a viable group. When Yeowun is imprisoned, Bakgi helps keep the scattered faction together. Ohjong accepts Bakgi's leadership and wants to repay him, a sign that his loyalty extends to companions rather than only the master at the center. During the contest for a yellow tag, Ohjong and Bakgi are ambushed by Ha Ilming's group and caught in Chun Yuchan's larger maneuver. Ohjong holds on to the tag even while attackers bend every finger backward, leaving him unconscious with a badly damaged hand. (Chapters 62–64)

Injury, retaliation, and renewed loyalty

The injury sends Ohjong to the infirmary for several days and prevents him from joining the group at the start of its intensive Seven Demon Sword training. Yeowun learns what happened without blaming him for losing the tag. Instead, he systematically breaks the fingers and legs of Ha Ilming's faction and later cripples Yuchan's force, making Ohjong's suffering part of the reason he refuses to leave the attack unanswered. Ohjong wakes angry at his own failure and worried about Yeowun's judgment. Seeing the attackers brought into the infirmary removes that fear and deepens his commitment to serve Yeowun permanently. After five days of treatment he rejoins training late but catches up quickly enough to complete the required formations. The sequence turns an apparent defeat into evidence that Yeowun's faction protects its members and that Ohjong can recover without being discarded. (Chapters 82, 86, and 88)

Training after the group tests

Ohjong wants a place among the Six Swords even though stronger members initially outrank him. When Yeowun distributes copied master-level manuals, Ohjong is astonished that his master has given weaker followers access to arts from prominent cult, orthodox, and unorthodox clans. He accepts the training order and later participates in the body-cleansing treatment Yeowun brings back from Demon Seal Cave. (Chapters 90, 107–108, and 123)

During Yeowun's seclusion, Ohjong advances to master level. He remains attentive to the absent leader, warming himself at the faction's camp and noticing the meals Yeowun misses while pursuing separate training. At the end of Ohjong's supplied arc, Yeowun judges that he still has not completely acquired the high-ranking art he received and tells him to remain at the academy rather than follow into the succession conflict. Ohjong understands the refusal as a demand to become strong enough to help later, leaving his development incomplete but still directed by the original allegiance. (Chapters 110, 141, and 150)

Appearance and personality

No stable physical description is emphasized. Ohjong is loyal, competitive, and resilient. He wants to rise into the Six Swords and is embarrassed by losing a tag, but the ambition does not make him turn on stronger companions. He recognizes what Bakgi does for the group and wants to return that support.

Serious injury intensifies rather than breaks his loyalty. Ohjong endures the destruction of his fingers rather than voluntarily surrender the faction's objective, then returns to training as soon as treatment permits. He also accepts that enthusiasm alone does not make him ready to accompany Yeowun outside the academy, ending the arc with a sober awareness of the strength he still lacks.

Martial arts and abilities

Tiger Sword Clan foundation

Ohjong enters the academy with sword training from the Tiger Sword Clan, but explicitly lacks the top-class martial inheritance available to the major heirs. The corpus does not give named Tiger Sword formations or describe a special energy source, so his early foundation can be identified as sword-oriented without inventing mechanics. His later advancement is built on this base plus the shared instruction Yeowun provides. (Chapters 45–46)

Seven Demon Sword and shared manuals

Ohjong learns the Seven Demon Sword for the academy's coordinated group test. Because his injured hand keeps him in the infirmary for the first five training days, he starts behind the others, yet his aptitude lets him catch up during the remaining period. The art is used as a standardized formation system for the test rather than proof that he abandons his native sword discipline. (Chapters 82, 86, and 88)

Yeowun later gives each follower three copied master-level manuals chosen from the academy library. Ohjong receives high-ranking material, but the supplied chapters do not state his individual titles. By Chapter 150 he has not completely acquired the principal advanced art assigned to him. Cultivation and recovery

Ohjong reaches master level during Yeowun's closed-room absence. The progression is demonstrated by academy narration, but the corpus does not establish a later grandmaster breakthrough for him. His latest confirmed cultivation is therefore master level. (Chapter 110)

The ambush shows both endurance and physical limits. He keeps hold of the tag while every finger is forced backward, but loses consciousness and requires five days of medical treatment before he can resume sword practice. Later, Yeowun's body-cleansing liquid expels accumulated impurities and improves his training foundation. This is a supplied treatment, not rapid regeneration or a permanent ability to ignore injury.
