Lee Wook

Lee Wook is a Supreme Master and Six Martial Master whose grief over his brother hardens into an extermination plan at the Yulin treaty, then into a failed attempt to unite rival factions against Yeowun.

Biography

The Yulin Treaty and Great Plains

Wook enters the treaty operation blindfolded and in command of the Blade God faction's detachment. Since Yeowun killed his younger brother Lee Baek, an already unstable swordsman has become colder and more obsessive, though fellow masters still praise his thorough preparation. He places Raze Roaring Thunder bombs beneath the grounds as a last resort designed to leave no one inside the walls alive. When Yeowun's disguised people uncover the explosives and neutralize the northern gate force, Wook removes the blindfold and realizes the carefully timed extermination has failed before the treaty battle begins. (Chapters 389–390)

Yeowun then takes control of Wook's connected Air Swords and sends them back. Wook and Noh Do-kyung block the returning weapons, but the reversal exposes a Divine Master who can seize the very qi link Wook relies on. Wook proposes a temporary alliance with Nam Gung-kyong and tries to turn Yulin against the greater common threat. The manipulation fails because Yi Mok already knows a booklet used to break the former alliance was forged; Wook's document was linguistically flawless but misunderstood how Yeowun actually styled himself. Yi Mok engages Wook directly once battle begins. Their repeated Air Sword formations, aerial collisions, and ground exchanges reveal both as Supreme Masters. Wook still judges that a Divine Master must eventually exhaust a human energy reserve, so he helps maintain pressure even after Sky Flash Air Swords devastate the field. In the final three-master assault, he targets Yeowun's heart with the fifth formation of the Extreme Art while Noh and Cha Yunkang strike other lines. Yeowun destroys the formation. Noh then uses Blood Reversion and a sacrificial grapple to create an escape, allowing Wook to flee east by Chapter 397. (Chapters 393–397)

Appearance and personality

Wook initially covers his eyes with black cloth. He is calculating, obsessive after his brother's death, and willing to kill allies and bystanders with mass explosives. He adapts quickly enough to seek temporary alliances and accept another master's sacrifice, but repeatedly assumes that preparation can reduce Yeowun to familiar limits.

Supreme Master cultivation

Wook is a Supreme Master comparable enough to Yi Mok for their high-speed exchanges to move between ground and air. He can project and maintain several Air Swords, survive their reversal, and fight through large-scale battlefield pressure. He remains below Yeowun's Divine Master level; the assumption that sufficient attacks will empty Yeowun's reserve proves false. (Chapters 390, 393–397)

Air Sword control

Wook creates and directs Air Swords through an internal-energy connection. He uses three in formation against Yi Mok and can contest control when Yeowun seizes them, though he only makes the swords tremble before losing the link entirely. This exposes a direct counter: a fighter with superior qi control can appropriate the remote weapons and return them against their owner. (Chapters 390, 393–395)

Extreme Art of the Blade God

Wook properly inherits the body-transcending essence of the Blade God's martial legacy and uses its fifth formation to aim at Yeowun's heart during a synchronized three-direction attack. The formation is intended to overload defense by coordinating different masters and target lines. Yeowun's knowledge and superior Black Flame Sword dismantle it, so Wook's inheritance is genuine without being complete enough to overcome the current Divine Master. (Chapter 397)

Operational planning and forged intelligence

Wook commands telepathically, coordinates gates and buried Raze Roaring Thunder bombs, and engineers false information to split Yulin from the Demonic Cult. The plan combines mass destruction with political manipulation, but it depends on hidden infrastructure and exact cultural knowledge. Discovery of the bombs removes the physical contingency, while a subtle naming error lets Yi Mok recognize the forged booklet. (Chapters 389–392)
