Kingbonki

Kingbonki is the Demonic Cult's Second Elder and head of the Sword Clan. His ambition to make his clan the true heir of the Sword Demon leads him from secret instruction to a forbidden transformation that Chun Yeowun must kill at full force.

Biography

Anonymous and the Twenty-Four Demon Sword

Kingbonki answers a mysterious summons to a mountain peak with Mu Jinwon and Yin Moha. The masked teacher called Anonymous claims the right to test inheritors of the Sword Demon's legacy and demonstrates a formation without explaining its energy flow. Kingbonki and Mu accept because the movement resembles the Sword Art of the Sky Demon and because the stranger is too powerful to coerce. They receive three years to master the first formation of the Twenty-Four Demon Sword. Yin Moha refuses the arrangement, regarding the others as descendants of clans that betrayed the true lineage. (Chapters 180–181)

When the candidates gather again, Kingbonki believes Mu Jinwon's absence leaves the Sword Clan poised to claim sole succession. He has also decided Anonymous must be Chun Inji, the missing Great High Lord, and kneels in an attempt to secure favor. The deduction is wrong. Yin Moha has brought Yeowun, and Anonymous treats that intrusion as failure rather than rewarding Kingbonki. His restraint collapses when he realizes the promised inheritance may be lost; he attacks Yin Moha, only to discover that her reconstructed body and perfected True Demon Sword have moved beyond the level he expected. Blood God's Reversion and death

After losing the sword contest, Kingbonki activates the forbidden Great Art of the Blood God's Reversion. The transformation enlarges his body, reddens his skin and eyes, produces irregular armor-like muscle, and raises his strength and speed beyond normal human limits. Unlike the crude Blood Reversion previously exposed among Sword Clan subordinates, Kingbonki claims his form removes the loss of consciousness caused by disrupted energy flow. He adapts quickly enough to break Yin Moha's wrist through her barrier and shatter her force-qi-coated sword against his chest. (Chapters 224–225)

Yeowun arrives before the finishing blow. Exhausted from fighting Marakim, he cannot cut Kingbonki with the White Dragon Blade or a full sequence of the Blade God's art; the transformed elder's force qi repeatedly throws him back. Yeowun finally draws the Sky Demon Sword and compresses all twenty-four movements of the Sword Force of the Sky Demon into one decisive line. The black force qi penetrates the defense that ordinary blade force cannot breach and leaves a hole through Kingbonki's chest. He dies kneeling, and the victory confirms Yeowun's Sky Demon qi to Marakim. (Chapters 225–227)

Appearance and personality

Kingbonki has a short beard and aggressive eyes. He is hot-tempered, proud of the Sword Clan, and deeply concerned with the legitimacy of inherited martial knowledge. He can postpone violence when advancement depends on obedience, but frustration rapidly exposes his aggression. His transformed body turns enormous and red, with swollen veins, malformed muscles, and beast-like senses. Even then he retains enough reason to speak, boast, and adapt to the altered proportions.

Martial arts and abilities

• Superior Master cultivation: Before transforming, Kingbonki is an established Superior Master and the cult's Second Elder. His ordinary level is below Yeowun's and eventually below Yin Moha's reconstructed skill, which is why he resorts to a forbidden art when their duel turns against him. (Chapters 221–224)
• Sword Demon inheritance: He knows inherited Sword Clan teachings and studies the first formation of the Twenty-Four Demon Sword. The demonstrated formation requires correct movement rather than a disclosed energy-flow lesson, so mastery depends on reconstructing it from observation and lineage knowledge. (Chapters 180–181)
• Great Art of the Blood God's Reversion: Kingbonki's version destroys the normal limits on his body's output while preserving more consciousness than the incomplete form. It multiplies strength, speed, force qi, durability, and sensory acuity; his muscle can stop a force-qi-coated sword like metal armor. The price is a monstrous bodily change and unstable violence. His claim that all side effects are removed is not independently verified, and the transformation still cannot resist the concentrated final formation of the Sky Demon sword art. • Transformed hand techniques: After activation, he applies the movement of the True Demon Sword through his hands, surrounding both with enormous force qi. This lets him reproduce sword-derived formations without relying on a blade and exploit the transformed body's reach and power. (Chapter 225)
• Adaptive combat: His enlarged body is initially less accurate, allowing Yin Moha to evade. He adjusts during the fight, catches her rhythm, breaks her defense, and corners her. The improvement makes the transformation more than a blind berserk state, but does not overcome Yeowun's superior technique. (Chapters 224–225)
