Hing disappears from regular Mudan contact for a month while guarding a hidden mansion and the Godly Doctor's work. He claims enemies surrounding Sword Creek made communication impossible and allows Yin Moha's party inside after they help drive attackers away. Yet the help is calculated: he suspects that guests containing multiple Superior Masters belong to the Forces of Evil or the Demonic Cult and intends to use their presence while controlling what they learn.
