Biography

Apprenticeship at the academy

Jongmeng comes to the Demonic Academy infirmary at the direction of his teacher, Demon Doctor Baek Jongwu. He is delighted by the prospect of treating the injuries produced by hundreds of cadets, but that enthusiasm does not make him inattentive. When Chun Yeowun arrives after the first test, Jongmeng cuts off conversation as soon as the patient's condition appears to worsen. Bakgi's strange illness gives Jongmeng a more difficult diagnostic problem. The reaction tells him that the toxin was inhaled, passed through the lungs and stomach, and is a slow poison rather than an immediate contact agent.
