Tuni
Tuni is the larger member of Anon's three-person survivor group in Immortui's realm. Years of lethal hunting games make him sceptical of champions and would-be rescuers, yet he continues scouting for the group and follows Anon's effort to unite local survivors against their common rulers. (Chapters 2371–2391 and 2422–2464)
Biography
Surviving the hunting games
Anon introduces Tuni while trying to assemble enough people to survive the demons' hunting game. Tuni accepts the alliance but refuses to soften its prospects for newcomers: he explains that previous games changed nothing because the champions cared about themselves rather than the local people. That pessimism is grounded in experience rather than passivity. He scouts ahead through the trees, warns the group when a Yak demon is deployed, notices tension and corpses around the demon base that his frightened companions overlook, and follows Anon back toward danger after being persuaded that united action is their best remaining option. (Chapters 2371–2386)
Quinn's demon transformation reinforces Tuni's fear that replacing one ruler with another will only repeat the cycle. He remains with Anon and Ekeke despite believing both movement and inaction may be fatal, later approaches Calva, and shelters with the larger group while Quinn recovers. Encounters with the champions challenge some inherited stories, but Tuni still speaks bluntly about their cruelty and worries about the people left on his home world. Chapter 2464 leaves him alive in the cave; no later fate is established. (Chapters 2387–2391 and 2422–2464)
Appearance and personality
Tuni is identified as the bigger of Anon's two skull-faced companions. The corpus gives no stable description of his clothing, colouring, or facial features beyond that community's skeletal appearance. He is fearful in the face of demon kings but honest, perceptive, and practical: he voices risks others suppress, scouts despite those fears, and notices environmental evidence while companions focus only on immediate threats. (Chapters 2371 and 2374–2379)
Powers and abilities
Bone hardening
Tuni can harden parts of his body with bone-like material. When red crystal shards approach from behind, he turns, covers his head and chest with his forearms and body, and catches the projectiles in the hardened areas. The defence prevents a more vulnerable hit but does not make him impervious: the shards slice partway through the bone and remain embedded. The corpus does not name the ability, explain how much of his body he can cover, or show a later upgrade. (Chapter 2372)
Scouting and situational awareness
Tuni moves ahead through the trees and returns quickly enough to warn his group about a Yak demon. He also recognises unusual tension and dead bodies in the demon base before Anon and Ekeke do. These are demonstrated survival skills rather than a confirmed supernatural sense; the text does not establish literal rear vision even though he reacts rapidly to an attack from behind. (Chapters 2372, 2375, and 2379)
Relationships
- Anon: Anon persuades Tuni to join a wider survival alliance and to approach the battlefield despite deep distrust of rulers. Tuni follows him while continuing to challenge overly hopeful claims. (Chapters 2371–2387)
- Calva: Tuni initially knows Calva through the local image of a cruel champion. He later travels near him and speaks bluntly about that reputation, showing that alliance has not erased his fear. (Chapters 2422 and 2463)
- Quinn: Quinn defeats the demon king oppressing the region, but his uncontrolled demon form makes Tuni fear a new tyranny. Tuni remains nearby through Quinn's recovery without claiming that the danger is resolved. (Chapters 2383–2391 and 2422–2464)
