Swin

Swin is a student in the academy's weak class and Venus's closest friend. Bullying initially teaches him to avoid stronger students, but support from Quinn, Sil, and Wevil's weapon training lets him combine low-level telekinesis with dual daggers and defeat opponents who dismiss him. (Chapters 959–1099)

Biography

From coerced student to confident fighter

Swin and Venus are treated as class troublemakers while stronger students use threats against their families to keep them silent. Swin shares telekinesis with Sil but has only modest power, so help from Sil, Shiro, and Quinn challenges his assumption that the strong will always side with abusers. He later calls Quinn's intervention justice and asks that Shiro be supported during the resulting class conflict. (Chapters 959–990)

Selected for the beast-weapon event, Swin draws on Wevil's instruction about a fighter's state of mind. Two opponents try to eliminate the supposed nobody together, but Swin redirects and retrieves thrown daggers with telekinesis, mixes the remote movement with rolls and close stabs, and defeats them. The win does not transform the scale of his ability; it shows that training and tactical combination can overcome the label attached to him. (Chapters 993–999)

Swin later hunts Sandworms with Venus and Shiro, refuses renewed extortion, and calls Quinn rather than surrendering. On learning that teacher Hardy is Quinn, he responds with enthusiasm and eventually reaches the Cursed faction with his friends. He is alive at that point, but the supplied corpus does not establish his subsequent career or level. (Chapters 1003–1028 and 1099)

Appearance and personality

Swin is a male student whose long hair hangs over his eyes. He begins wary and accustomed to being treated as weak, yet he has a strong sense of fairness and becomes openly defiant once reliable allies and practical training give him a viable alternative. His event victory also shows patience: he lets his opponents underestimate him and links ability use to weapon timing rather than relying on raw force. (Chapters 959–999 and 1010–1017)

Powers and abilities

Telekinesis and dual daggers

Swin's ability is telekinesis, explicitly the same broad ability type Sil uses in class. Swin demonstrates control over daggers: he changes a thrown blade's course, retrieves it, and manipulates an embedded weapon while attacking with the other hand. This gives him pressure from multiple angles without requiring powerful large-object control. The corpus does not establish his range, numerical level, or an upgrade beyond these small-weapon applications. (Chapters 964 and 993–999)

Wevil teaches Swin dual-dagger combat and the mental discipline to commit during a fight. Swin combines rolls, direct stabs, throws, and telekinetic recovery rather than treating weapon skill as a separate supernatural power. His later Sandworm work is team-based, and no personal Qi mastery, transformation, or high-tier beast kill is individually confirmed. (Chapters 993–1009)

Relationships

  • Venus: Venus is Swin's close friend and partner through bullying, training, the Sandworm hunt, and their move to the Cursed faction. (Chapters 959–1099)
  • Quinn: Quinn's protection as Hardy gives Swin a model of legitimate authority. Swin later calls on him against extortion and chooses to join his faction. (Chapters 968–1028 and 1099)
  • Sil: Sil's stronger telekinesis and personal defence of the class show Swin what his own ability type can become without erasing the difference in their levels or identities. (Chapters 964–1005)
  • Wevil: Wevil's dagger instruction supplies the practical framework that lets Swin turn weak telekinesis into a successful tournament strategy. (Chapters 993–999)
