Stin
Stin is a proud member of a vampire hunting squad trapped in a forest controlled by demon-tier beasts. He repeatedly belittles the accompanying guards, but surviving because of the guard Quinn forces him to acknowledge that respect is owed. (Chapters 2030–2044)
Biography
Antagonising the guards in the looping forest
While the hunting party treats its wounds, Stin accuses the comparatively uninjured guards of hiding from battle and mocks their usefulness. When the forest repeatedly returns the group to the same tree, his confidence turns into arguments over direction. He eventually takes a turn leading, fails like the others, and attacks Quinn after Quinn calls the repeated mistake foolish; Quinn avoids the punch and restrains him until Anton intervenes. (Chapters 2030–2034)
Quinn succeeds in leading the party into a new area, but Stin treats the change as another danger and even suggests pushing a guard from the mountain to test the forest. Faced with three speaking demon-tier beasts, his bravado collapses into fear. He assumes Quinn's direct manner will provoke them, only to learn that the beasts avoided the settlement because they sensed Quinn there. (Chapters 2035–2037)
Accepting the guard's sacrifice
Quinn stays behind so the hunting group can escape the controlled forest. As Stin runs to safety, he reflects that the person he despised is the reason he remains alive and promises to apologise if Quinn survives. The moment does not show the apology taking place, but it establishes a change from contempt to reluctant respect. Stin is alive when the group meets Edvard, and his later fate is not supplied. (Chapter 2044)
Appearance and personality
The corpus does not give Stin a stable physical description. He is proud, argumentative, dismissive of lower-status guards, and quick to lash out when embarrassed. Immediate danger exposes his fear, while his promise after the escape shows that pride does not prevent him from recognising a debt. (Chapters 2030–2044)
Powers and abilities
Hunting-squad vampire combat
Stin has a hunting vampire's enhanced strength, speed, senses, blood aura, and access to the squad's green blood for a temporary physical boost. He can rush Quinn and throw a fast punch, but Quinn evades and restrains him without difficulty. No named family ability, advanced blood technique, Qi stage, transformation, or individual victory is demonstrated, so his upper limit and later progression remain unknown. (Chapters 2030–2035 and 2044)
