Sera

Sera, known among the Unranked as the God of War, is an ancient celestial warrior who commands a vast arsenal. He helps Leo reclaim Earth from Pure, later fights Chris and Peter during the Amra war, and withdraws when his battlefield awareness shows that the larger conflict is already lost. (Chapters 1439–1459, 1484–1487, 1848–1853, and 2248–2252)

Biography

The Unranked God of War

Sera appears among the powerful Unranked Travellers brought into the alliance against Pure and the Dalki. He carries the power of a god within an enhanced human body and is accompanied by Abdul, but toxic smoke still incapacitates him when pride keeps him from covering his mouth. The incident establishes that his celestial power does not remove ordinary bodily vulnerabilities. (Chapters 1439–1448)

After waking, Sera recognises the power associated with Ray around Quinn and immediately challenges the unfamiliar presence before standing down when it disappears. Quinn's questions about Ray and Bliss make clear that Sera knows both ancient figures, but the local corpus does not narrate his original transformation, age, or complete history with them. (Chapters 1455 and 1459; Chapter 2303)

Reclaiming Earth with Leo

Quinn assigns Sera and Leo to reclaim Earth from Pure. Sera contributes relationships with Unranked Travellers and helps design simultaneous attacks on major industrial shelters, reasoning that striking resources and reducing the military's ability to fight will make occupied populations turn against Pure. Their rapid victories restore the major shelters before Pure can consolidate a response. (Chapters 1484–1487 and 1848–1849)

Sera and Leo then hunt Pure's leadership, using ruthless methods to uncover its base and challenge Zero and Chris. Sera offers to elevate Leo's sword to demon-tier power and invites him to become a subordinate, but accepts Leo's loyalty to Quinn. The exchange shows that Sera can share weapon enhancement, while Leo's later vampire evolution remains Leo's own achievement rather than power received from Sera. (Chapters 1849–1851)

During the arranged duel, Sera blocks Zero's invisible Qi strike with an ancient shield that expands into a door. He fights until Zero reveals an ability and escapes, leaving Sera exhausted and furious but alive. With the shelters restored and Chris defeated by Leo, Sera agrees not to pursue immediately; the corpus leaves the detailed outcome of Sera's wider millennium-long conflict with Pure unresolved. (Chapters 1852–1853; Chapters 1583 and 1664)

Return during the Amra war

In the later era, Sera supports the side opposing Quinn's forces on the Amra battlefield and engages Peter and Chris. He cycles through crossbows, reflective shields, sabres, spears, armour, and stored weapons, enjoying the contest until their combined speed and force begin breaking his defences. (Chapters 2248–2250)

Sera then spreads roughly fifty weapons across the ground and activates his battlefield zone. The ongoing war and fallen combatants generate celestial energy, while every weapon within the zone gains demon-tier output and Sera receives enhanced speed, awareness, and control. He wounds both opponents and disrupts their teamwork, but red-werewolf Chris becomes fast and strong enough to shatter an empowered greatsword and pierce Sera's armour. (Chapters 2250–2252)

Rather than continue a fight that no longer benefits the losing army, Sera recalls his stored weapons and leaves. His broad awareness tells him that the Amra front has already collapsed, and he judges that defeating Chris and Peter would not reverse it. He later watches Ray's confrontation with Quinn beside Bliss and is still spoken of by Ray as an active figure; no later chapter records his death. (Chapters 2252 and 2261; Chapter 2303)

Appearance and personality

Sera is a male warrior who initially hides his face beneath a hood. He carries numerous weapons across his body, wears gloves with storage rings, boots that can propel him through the air, and armour capable of withstanding high-level impacts. The corpus does not give his hair colour, eye colour outside his white-energy state, height, or apparent age. (Chapters 1439, 1455, 1850–1852, and 2248–2252)

He is proud, irreverent, battle-loving, and confident enough to treat dangerous opponents as opportunities to spar. Sera respects capable warriors such as Leo, thinks strategically on an army-wide scale, and is pragmatic enough to retreat once victory has no useful consequence. His methods can be ruthless, including killing informants he judges worthless. (Chapters 1455–1459, 1848–1853, and 2248–2252)

Powers and abilities

Celestial nature and human limits

Sera is identified as having a god's power within an enhanced human body and is later compared with Bliss as one of Earth's celestial protectors. He emits white celestial energy and gains more of it from an active battlefield. Gas can still render him unconscious, physical attacks can pierce his skin and armour, and the corpus does not establish reincarnation, immortality, or his original route to celestial status. (Chapters 1448 and 2089; Chapters 2249–2252)

Weapon enhancement and storage

Sera can raise an ordinary or low-tier weapon's performance to demon tier while he uses it and can offer the same enhancement to another person's weapon. His intermediate-tier homing dagger repeatedly returns to its target under that amplification. Rings under his gloves store and summon weapons, allowing him to switch rapidly among ranged, defensive, and melee options; the individual crossbow flames, reflective shield, homing dagger, and expanding shield are weapon properties rather than separate innate abilities. (Chapters 1850–1852 and 2248–2250)

Battlefield zone

Sera establishes a domain by scattering weapons across a real battlefield and sending white energy through the area. Fighting, fallen allies and enemies, and the battlefield state supply celestial energy; within the zone, every laid-out weapon receives demon-tier force, Sera's physical reactions improve, and he can sense disturbances around him. The technique requires a battlefield and deployed arsenal, and it loses its visible energy when Sera recalls the weapons and leaves. (Chapters 2250–2252)

Combat mastery and tactical awareness

Sera is proficient with swords, sabres, spears, shields, bows, daggers, axes, staffs, and unfamiliar weapons. He combines minimal movements with the most useful nearby tool, can hover weapons with energy, and uses a bird's-eye-like awareness to follow a large conflict. Chris's red werewolf form exceeds his zone-enhanced reactions and destroys his weapon, demonstrating that sufficiently high speed and force can overcome the domain's advantages. (Chapters 1848–1853 and 2248–2252)

Relationships

  • Leo: Sera plans and fights beside Leo to reclaim Earth. He respects Leo enough to offer power and subordination, then accepts his loyalty to Quinn.
  • Quinn: Quinn recognises Sera's connection to ancient celestial affairs and entrusts him with Earth's recovery. Sera later supports an opposing army but does not personally settle the conflict with Quinn.
  • Ray: Sera recognises Ray's power and has opposed him in the past. Their ancient history remains only partially described in the supplied corpus.
  • Bliss: Bliss and Sera share knowledge of Ray and are described as celestial figures watching over Earth.
  • Chris and Peter: Sera fights them together, dominates after forming his zone, then retreats when Chris's red form and the collapsing war remove any reason to continue.
  • Abdul: Abdul is a fellow Unranked who frequently remains at Sera's side and scolds his reckless pride during the gas attack.
