Hana
Hana is a short-haired Parasite faction member who scouts the Cursed faction beside Wevil. Her fear that the Parasites cannot survive either their enemies or their own poison leads her to ask Quinn for help, after which she and Wevil take responsibility for moving their people under his protection. Hana is distinct from the Red Vampire captain Hannah. (Chapters 680–702 and 1113–1120)
Biography
Scouting the Cursed faction
Hana accompanies Wevil to assess Quinn's hunting party and reports its apparent ranks to Mantis. The expedition overturns her expectations: the Cursed group kills Emperor-tier beasts while a Parasite member dies because the scouts dismissed the stated plan. Hana urges Wevil not to follow the stronger group into further danger, fearing that outsiders have no reason to protect them. (Chapters 680–684)
When the Parasites later fight Quinn's allies, Hana uses wind strikes to obstruct Nate and attacks Quinn in panic. Mantis's death and the discovery that Paul poisoned the whole faction leave escape meaningless. Hana therefore asks Quinn to remove the poison and save people who had just opposed him; Wevil promises their future loyalty, while Hana assumes practical responsibility for the faction. The decision turns fearful reconnaissance into dependence on the group she had underestimated. (Chapters 688–702)
Supporting the dragon expedition
Hana later joins the Cursed expedition as one of the ability donors available to Sil. She remains outside the most dangerous area rather than pretending she can match a Demon-tier dragon, watches stronger fighters with open admiration, and argues that Quinn's account of the dragon's voice is more plausible than a sudden secret second ability. She is alive when last shown, but the corpus does not describe her life after the expedition. (Chapters 1113–1120)
Appearance and personality
Hana is a woman with short, spiked hair and hands bandaged to the forearms. She is cautious, outspoken, and easily alarmed when plans exceed her faction's power, but her fear does not prevent her from asking an enemy to save her people or from accepting responsibility afterward. She also admires women who reach the highest military ranks. (Chapters 680–702 and 1113–1120)
Powers and abilities
Wind ability
Hana is identified as a level-six ability user. She projects wind strikes and repeated cutting wind slashes at range, using them to interrupt movement and pressure opponents. Quinn's speed lets him bypass the attacks, while Tony's barrier takes a wind strike without visible damage; these encounters establish that her output is useful support but not sufficient against the faction's strongest fighters. (Chapters 690 and 697–700)
Hana later remains available as a source from which Sil can copy an ability, but the corpus does not show Sil using her wind in a way that establishes a new technique for Hana herself. No soul weapon, Qi stage, transformation, or later upgrade is demonstrated. (Chapters 1113–1116)
Relationships
- Wevil: Wevil is Hana's closest Parasite partner. She fears his willingness to follow the Cursed hunters, fights beside him, and shares responsibility for the faction after he pledges loyalty to Quinn. (Chapters 680–702)
- Quinn: Hana begins by scouting and opposing Quinn, then asks him to cure the Parasites when their own leadership leaves them doomed. She later supports his expedition and defends his explanation of the dragon. (Chapters 680–702 and 1113–1120)
- Sil: Hana first sees Sil as part of the threatening Cursed group and later joins an expedition partly to provide him with another copyable ability. (Chapters 688–700 and 1113–1116)
