In one cycle, He Zhenghao reports that the talented Wei Qizheng dies after entering a cave containing a Soul Transformation puppet. In a later history, Wei survives to take the Alliance examination, relies on question-bank preparation, and is delighted when his memorization pays off. Ji Shaoli initially dismisses his long-term potential but steadies him before the results, after which Wei becomes one of thirty-three Immortal Selectees. Li Fan secretly places a Final Dissociation Disc fragment with him to record the project's methods. Repeated use of the Immortal Ancestor manifestation consumes the selectees, and Wei eventually dies with body and Dao extinguished, transmitting the hidden training record to Li Fan. Appearance and personality

The source does not fix Wei Qizheng's detailed appearance. He is sociable, grateful, and openly excited by examination success, with enough anxiety before selection to require reassurance.
