Biography

The weakest surviving junior

Tianyang is the youngest and physically weakest disciple of the ancient Body Transformation Dao. During the calamity surrounding the Immortal Recruitment Order, his master and senior brothers repeatedly protect him because his congenital frailty leaves him least able to survive direct danger. Their care becomes painful rather than comforting: Tianyang wants enough strength to take their place, but instead watches the people closest to him sacrifice themselves while he remains alive. (Chapters 97–110; Chapters 228–231)

After their deaths, Tianyang studies the works they left behind and fixes his life around the wish to become strong before the moment of loss. The remembered simulation shows him repeatedly trying to change the same outcome. His guilt, devotion, and refusal to accept protection at another’s expense eventually produce Eternal Remembrance and the lethal mechanisms of his cave. What first looks like a murderous ancient inheritance is therefore rooted in grief and an unfulfilled desire to shield his sect family. (Chapters 228–239)

Cave guardian and reconstructed puppet

Thousands of years later, cultivator expeditions enter Tianyang Cave and encounter seventeen puppets whose strength rises to match increasingly powerful intruders. Foundation Establishment, Golden Core, and Nascent Soul teams die as the mechanisms draw on the cave’s underwater volcanic power. The central presence awakens with Tianyang’s name and fragments of his memory, preserving the command to protect the cave and to grow stronger when stronger enemies appear. This responsive construct has no single reliable ordinary realm label. (Chapters 97–105)

Li Fan and Zhang Haobo initially face the cave as intruders, but Li Fan later reconstructs the history behind its apparent mechanical cruelty. His experiments with the Ancient Body Transformation Dao develop a route in which the self can persist through an external body, allowing Tianyang’s identity to continue in a constructed form. Tianyang eventually accepts Li Fan as master and agent of purpose. He is not merely interchangeable equipment: the puppet body carries a remembered person’s loyalty, grief, and will. Immortal war puppet

Li Fan repeatedly repairs, strengthens, and deploys Tianyang in later plans. Tianyang guards the Medicine King group, performs dangerous assignments such as extracting Kunpeng blood, and is eventually identified explicitly as an immortal war puppet. His behavior preserves the same simple motive that defined the ancient junior: become strong enough to stand in front of those he is bound to protect. His obedience to Li Fan mirrors his earlier devotion to master and brothers, though it now operates through an artificial body built for war. (Chapters 817–818; Chapters 1028–1062)

Ink Death power later merges with Tianyang, adding a heaven-execution force to an already extraordinary constructed body. The fusion makes him one of Li Fan’s most durable participants in conflicts approaching immortal scale, and he remains active in the late corpus. Its permanence, cost, and complete control mechanics are not fully resolved, however. Tianyang’s old wish is fulfilled in a tragic technological form: the frail protected child becomes the shield, while the line between surviving person and repeatedly modified vessel grows increasingly difficult to separate. Appearance and personality

Ancient memories present Tianyang as a frail young man whose weakness contrasts with the physically imposing seniors who protect him. His later appearance is not one stable human design: he persists through reconstructed puppet bodies and is eventually identified as an immortal war puppet. A representative mature depiction therefore emphasizes an iron-black or bronze constructed body with cool blue highlights and a defensive stance, rather than inventing fixed hair, eye, or clothing details for every period. Tianyang is simple, sincere, loyal, and unyielding. Guilt over surviving his sect family drives his obsession with strength, while his later obedience expresses personal attachment more than mindless programming. He responds directly rather than politically and repeatedly places his body between danger and those he recognizes as companions or masters. His ferocity in the cave and on later battlefields should thus be read alongside the grief and protectiveness that generated it, not as evidence of cruelty for its own sake. Abilities and cultivation

Strength-matching mechanism body

The cave’s original puppet system responds to intruders by raising its combat output to meet stronger opposition. Seventeen bodies cooperate while drawing power from an underwater volcano, allowing the defense to defeat expeditions led by progressively higher cultivation realms. This is an adaptive mechanism, not proof that Tianyang permanently holds every realm it counters. Its initial ceiling is unknown, it depends on the cave’s stored system and energy source, and it is eventually superseded by Li Fan’s later reconstruction of Tianyang as a persistent external body. Ancient Body Transformation and external self

The Ancient Body Transformation Dao treats the body and an external body as transformable objects rather than an unchangeable natural vessel. Tianyang inherits the tradition, while Li Fan resolves its memory and experiments toward an “external body transformation of the self” that can preserve identity through a constructed form. The route unlocks extreme physical potential, durability, and force, but the corpus emphasizes bodily cost, long experimentation, and Xuanhuang’s suppression of systems outside the dominant cultivation law. It becomes the structural basis of Tianyang’s continued puppet existence. (Chapters 228–239)

Immortal war-puppet body and Ink Death integration

Later factional reconstruction raises Tianyang beyond the cave’s earlier mechanism bodies and explicitly presents him as an immortal war puppet. This form can undertake high-level extraction, guarding, and direct combat assignments that ordinary puppets could not survive. In Chapter 1219, Ink Death power merges with him and adds a heaven-execution quality. The combined body remains active in late immortal-level conflicts, but the text does not fully establish whether the fusion is permanent, what it continually costs, or how completely either component controls the result. Relationships

• Tianyang’s unnamed master and senior brothers are his foundational family. Their protection and deaths shape both Eternal Remembrance and his lifelong desire to become the protector.
• Li Fan reconstructs Tianyang, becomes the master he obeys, and repeatedly entrusts him with the most dangerous guarding and combat assignments. Command authority does not erase Tianyang’s persistent identity.
• Zhang Haobo accompanies Li Fan in the early Tianyang Cave conflict and helps frame the puppet system’s first role as an apparent enemy.
• Ink Death becomes physically integrated with Tianyang in Chapter 1219. The relationship is a power fusion whose long-term balance remains unresolved, not an ordinary alliance.
• The Medicine King group are recurring charges whom Tianyang protects, fulfilling through action the defensive role he could not perform for his ancient sect family.

Items

• Tianyang’s puppet body is continuous with his surviving identity. Although Li Fan constructs, upgrades, and commands it, the body should not be cataloged as detachable property separate from Tianyang himself.
• The Final Dissociation Disc is associated with Tianyang’s role in Li Fan’s large formation and computation projects. Li Fan remains the project’s controlling strategist; Tianyang’s operational custody does not make him the artifact’s sole creator or owner.
