Sikong Yi is the last inheritor of the Sun Stealing Sect in the Cong Yun Sea, a low-profile cultivator whose body-swapping survival method and Cloud Water knowledge make him both Li Fan's target and the source of Fan Lin's later clone technique.

Biography

Descent of Anomalies

Sikong Yi first becomes notable because a prior-cycle version survives the Cloud Water Heavenly Palace, exchanges its map for one hundred thousand contribution points, and apparently vanishes through long-distance teleportation. Li Fan investigates him in the next cycle and discovers a deliberately inconspicuous late-Qi Condensation cultivator traveling with Baili Chen. Inside the palace, Sikong uses disposable life exchanges and inherited memories to navigate toward Taiyi Hall, repeatedly reappearing when a body dies. Li Fan counters the method by binding both linked bodies and killing Sikong until successive resurrections lower his cultivation and finally cease. The remaining memories reveal that Baili Chen is a clone made from an ancient Cloud Water disciple's corpse, not an equal independent partner, and that Sikong's caution grew from inheriting an almost empty sect from his dying master. Appearance and personality

Sikong Yi deliberately appears ordinary and keeps a low profile, with no stable facial or clothing details emphasized. He is cautious, secretive, patient, and capable of provocation when drawing a pursuer into danger. Repeated death changes his anger into pleading, showing that his composure depends on confidence in the sect's escape mechanism. (Chapters 78–88)

Abilities and cultivation

Sun Stealing Technique

The sect method creates a clone and permits identity, appearance, and life to shift between linked bodies. Sikong can resurrect beside Baili Chen after apparent death, but each forced return reduces his cultivation; repeated simultaneous containment eventually exhausts the method. (Chapters 84–90)

Golden sword qi

Sikong launches winding golden sword energy in direct combat. Li Fan prepares a Redflame Shield specifically to restrain it, demonstrating a clear elemental counter and preventing the technique from changing the final pursuit. (Chapter 88)

Relationships

  • Baili Chen: The apparent companion is a clone Sikong constructs from a dead Cloud Water disciple. Their shared identity mechanics allow escape and resurrection, but the corpse-derived memories also lead Sikong toward the palace map.
  • Li Fan: Li Fan stalks, studies, and kills Sikong, then takes the inheritance and uses it to create Fan Lin.
  • Jiao Xiuyuan: Jiao investigates Sikong's movements for Li Fan, exposing Baili Chen and helping the ambush plan.

Items

  • Sun Stealing Token: Sikong inherits the sect token from his dying master and carries remnant souls within it. Li Fan takes custody after killing him and later trades the token away; it does not remain Sikong's possession. (Chapters 88–91)
  • Cloud Water Map: Sikong seeks this palace map for its Alliance reward. In the principal depicted outcome he surrenders or loses it during Li Fan's pursuit rather than completing the profitable escape. (Chapters 86–88)
