Shen Yurou

Shen Yurou is a Nascent Soul cultivator first confronted by Shuo Feng and much later consulted because his family's inherited condition preserves clues about an underground structure. (Chapters 281–284, 1276)

Biography

I Am Invincible

Shen Yurou confronts the armored cultivator calling himself “I Am Invincible,” only to recognize Shuo Feng after the latter reveals his golden armor. Their exchange stalls because Shuo Feng's method prevents him from attacking first and Shen refuses to cooperate with the challenge, leaving the anticipated duel unresolved. Much later, Qiao Gong identifies Shen as a descendant of excavation specialists. Summoned by Li Ping, Shen explains that an ancestor entered a mysterious underground structure, after which every family generation suffered reversed yin-yang traits and recurring inherited clues; he provides a painted reconstruction when no location record survives. (Chapters 281–284, 1276)

Appearance and personality

Early narration calls Shen sinister-faced and notes an effeminate quality in Shuo Feng's taunt; the later family account gives that trait a possible inherited cause rather than a chosen affectation. Shen is proud and vigilant during the challenge, then cautious and cooperative when questioned by Li Ping. No fixed clothing is established. (Chapters 281–284, 1276)

Abilities and cultivation

Peach Blossom Dharma Domain

Shen Yurou is explicitly a Nascent Soul cultivator whose pressure manifests alongside a Peach Blossom Dharma Domain above him. He withdraws that display after recognizing Shuo Feng and does not complete an attack, so the exact offensive mechanics remain unknown. His family's reversed yin-yang condition is inherited fallout from an ancestor's excavation, not a demonstrated cultivation technique. (Chapters 281–284, 1276)

Relationships

Shuo Feng is the challenger whose identity Shen eventually recognizes and whose reactive technique produces their stalemate. Li Ping later summons Shen as an information source, while Qiao Gong recommends his family's excavation history. The afflicted ancestor is unnamed but central to the inherited evidence. (Chapters 281–284, 1276)

Items

  • Underground-structure painting: Shen creates or reproduces this image from family knowledge for Li Ping. It is evidence entrusted to the inquiry, not a unique combat artifact retained for Shen's use. (Chapter 1276)
