Qiao Gong is not a bodily resurrection. His original body vanished long ago; a periodically backed-up consciousness continues inside a puppet he designed and acts as the surviving artisan described here. (Chapter 1011)

Biography

Remnant Disciple of the Heavenly Mechanism Realm

Qiao Gong reveals himself after operating the Lingyuan Sect and explains the Source Power technology of his destroyed Heavenly Mechanism Realm. He joins Li Fan's Federation in exchange for access to Source Power Essence and the promise of a True Immortal patron, then builds a multifunction Heavenly Mechanism Fortress and studies Tianyang. He gives Li Fan top authority over the fortress, crafts a replacement puppet body for Liu Ruchen, and later releases preserved consciousness copies of other realm elders only after Li Fan pressures him. His survival is thus resourceful but morally compromised by control over subordinate backups. (Chapters 1011–1014, 1019–1021, 1100–1101, 1114)

Appearance and personality

Qiao Gong's operative appearance is a self-built humanoid puppet carrying his backed-up consciousness; the corpus does not establish that it perfectly reproduces his lost original body. He is proud, talkative, technically brilliant, opportunistic, and secretive about his preserved colleagues. Genuine grief for his destroyed realm coexists with willingness to subordinate other copied minds. (Chapters 1011–1014, 1100–1101)

Abilities and cultivation

Source Power engineering and consciousness backup

Qiao Gong converts cultivation into universal Source Power, channels it into fortresses and puppets, and designs integrated concealment, attack, transfer, and defense functions. Periodic consciousness backup lets an earlier mental copy resume after bodily loss, but this is continuity by restoration rather than proof that death never occurred. His constructs need Source Power and materials, and their authority can be handed to another controller. (Chapters 1011–1014, 1019–1020)

Relationships

Li Fan recruits and coerces Qiao Gong, supplies resources, and receives control of his constructs. Tianyang is a research subject and potential upgrade partner, not owned property. Fang Zaiji is a less advanced but perceptive fellow artisan whose enthusiasm Qiao Gong initially finds intrusive. (Chapters 1013–1014, 1019–1021, 1101)
