Li Chen

Li Chen is an ancient Purple Heaven Sect inner disciple whose body and identity become the host through which Li Fan experiences one Fallen Immortal Realm reconstruction; he is distinct from Li Chenfeng.

Biography

Dreaming of the Purple Heaven Sect

Li Chen accompanies Zhang Qianmo from the Purple Heaven Sect to Ningyuan City, where the sect's outer operation cultivates Longevity Fruits. During the Fallen Immortal Realm reconstruction, however, Li Fan occupies Li Chen's body and uses the disciple's memories and reflexes while directing his actions. The resulting choices therefore cannot all be attributed to Li Chen's independent will. Li Fan uses the borrowed identity to investigate the sect's secrets and maneuver against Song Hesong, but the body is ultimately destroyed and consumed within the replay. The episode preserves fragments of Li Chen's original training without restoring him as an autonomous later participant. (Chapters 176–179, 197–205, and 276–287)

Appearance and personality

Li Chen is presented chiefly through sect clothing, bodily memory, and the social expectations attached to an inner disciple; the corpus does not fix a detailed face or build. Because Li Fan controls the host for much of the relevant sequence, apparent calculations in the replay are unreliable evidence for Li Chen's own personality. (Chapters 176–179 and 276–287)

Purple Heaven Sect training

The host body retains learned combat responses, spiritual-energy control, and familiarity with sect procedures. Li Fan can access those advantages through possession, but the text does not give Li Chen a complete named technique list or secure formal realm progression. (Chapters 176–179 and 276–287)

Host-memory access

Li Fan draws on Li Chen's memories to pass as the disciple and navigate the ancient reconstruction. This is an effect of Fallen Immortal Realm possession, not proof that Li Chen shares Li Fan's later abilities or intentions. (Chapters 176–179 and 197–205)
