Coffin Village review

Sister Mao enters Coffin Village as the most authoritative member of her group, expecting professional experience and group discipline to let her evaluate the attraction safely. The shifting paths, child spirits, and apparent betrayals rapidly strip away that confidence. Separated with Brother Wong, she first abandons him when pursued, then becomes trapped between Bai Qiulin and a ghost couple, each claiming that the other side is lying. Every choice leads to another reversal until she faints. Chen Ge later finds videos of the futuristic theme park and evidence that she hired online commenters to damage the House's rating, revealing that the “review” was also competitive intelligence gathering. Appearance and personality

Sister Mao wears makeup and initially carries herself as assertive, socially dominant, and professionally composed. Coffin Village leaves her makeup ruined and her judgment increasingly desperate. Even so, she keeps analyzing possible tricks until repeated deceptions make it impossible for her to decide whom to trust. (Chapters 345–356)

Skills and supernatural abilities

She has experience reviewing Haunted Houses and recognizes common mechanisms, route tricks, and scare tactics. She has no supernatural ability, and her professional framework becomes a liability when the actors and ghosts no longer obey the limits she expects from an ordinary attraction. (Chapters 345–356)
