Pei Hu

Pei Hu is a member of Wang Hailong's group who becomes separated during their visit to the Mu Yang High School scenario.

Biography

Narrative role

Pei Hu enters the underground scenario with Wang Hailong, Dou Menglu, and their companions, but quickly argues that the group should retreat as the mannequins begin moving. He is shoved into a classroom during the confusion, loses access to his phone, and hides under a bed while a mannequin head remains near him for roughly ten terrifying minutes. (Chapters 132–139)

Chen Ge eventually finds and rescues Pei Hu. Although his instinct throughout the challenge is to flee rather than investigate, he emerges with the best mental condition among the badly frightened visitors, suggesting that hiding spared him some of the direct encounters suffered by the others. He leaves the scenario alive. (Chapters 139–140)

Appearance and personality

Dou Menglu calls Pei Hu “fatty” in the group's panic. He is openly fearful and the first to favor retreat, but his caution is practical rather than malicious; once isolated, he endures the ordeal by remaining still and concealed. (Chapters 132–140)

Skills and supernatural abilities

Pei Hu demonstrates no supernatural ability or specialized investigative skill. His main successful survival choice is finding cover and refusing to draw the mannequin's attention. (Chapters 136–140)

Relationships

Pei Hu visits with Dou Menglu and Wang Hailong, sharing their increasingly desperate attempt to escape the scenario. Chen Ge is the attraction owner who later finds him and brings the group out safely. (Chapters 132–140)

Items

Pei Hu's mobile phone is left behind during the confusion and is answered by an unfamiliar presence, increasing the group's fear. It has no supernatural property of its own. (Chapters 136–139)
