Gu Feiyu

Gu Feiyu is a living House of Horrors employee whose loyalty persists despite repeated encounters with dangers far beyond ordinary security work.

Biography

From security guard to performer

Gu Feiyu works security at Fang Hwa Apartments when an escaped Third Sick Hall patient attacks. He investigates because protecting the residents is his job, becomes trapped and possessed, and survives through Chen Ge's intervention. After further dangerous incidents make the post untenable, he accepts work at the attraction, where Chen Ge and Xu Wan teach him routes, costumes, visitor handling, and the timing needed for coordinated scares. His previous exposure to Eastern Jiujiang's hearse continues to place him near supernatural danger. Gu Feiyu warns and assists Chen Ge, encounters the red-raincoat woman, survives Route 104, and handles both front-gate and scenario duties. He never gains spectral power, but his willingness to follow emergency instructions and help strangers makes him one of the attraction's few living employees able to function around its ghost staff. Appearance and personality

Gu Feiyu is a young man who first appears in a residential security uniform. He is earnest, dutiful, somewhat naive, and easily frightened, but fear does not prevent him from investigating danger or protecting residents and visitors. Training at the attraction gradually makes him a more convincing performer. (Chapters 201–210, 246–281, 344–356)

Skills and supernatural abilities

His security experience supports observation, escorting, de-escalation, and emergency response. At the House of Horrors he learns makeup, costumes, scenario routes, and visitor-facing performance. He has no supernatural combat ability and remains vulnerable to possession and stronger spirits. (Chapters 201–210, 259–281, 344–356, 680–684)
