Ah Li is a young medical student who enters the House of Horrors with Liu Gang's large visitor group. He stays close to Lan Dong and initially approaches the School of the Afterlife as a difficult attraction whose clues can be solved logically.

Biography

The School of the Afterlife challenge

Ah Li enters the four-star scenario beside his friend Lan Dong and tries to impose practical safety rules on an increasingly disordered group, including keeping emergency contacts ready and searching rooms for usable clues. His confidence erodes after he handles Lin Sisi's painting and box, which expose him to memories that do not belong to him. He nevertheless remains with Lan Dong as the scenario closes around them, and both students are eventually left helpless with the rest of the visitors rather than finding an escape. Appearance and personality

Ah Li is a young, slightly overweight student whose honest manner contrasts with the publicity-minded adults around him. He begins observant and reasonably confident, but his fear becomes increasingly visible once the scenario's supernatural elements overwhelm ordinary explanations. His loyalty is clearest in his refusal to abandon Lan Dong when the group fragments. (Chapters 918–939)

Skills and supernatural abilities

Ah Li has no supernatural rank or demonstrated paranormal ability. His useful qualities are ordinary ones: basic medical-student judgment, attention to clues, and an instinct to keep the group connected to outside help. Those precautions are not enough to protect him from the memories attached to Lin Sisi's belongings. (Chapters 918–939)
