Assassin Celestial boots

Description

The Assassin Celestial boots are an unnamed Assassin-subclass set piece among the Celestial boots dropped by Angus. The chapter states that the subclass boots share the same basic property boosts while differing in class set effects, but it prints only the Guardian pair's full panel; the Assassin boots' proper name and Assassin-specific set bonuses remain unstated. (Chapter 755)

History and custody

Angus loot distribution

Angus drops Celestial set boots for most subclasses. Sun Xin Yu's S-class inheritance lets her equip both Thief subclass types, but she chooses the Bandit boots. That leaves the Assassin pair to Lost Dream without a roll, making him the clear recipient rather than a temporary custodian. (Chapter 755)

At the time of distribution, Level 200 remains far enough away that recipients cannot yet equip the Celestial pieces. Lost Dream stores the boots for future progression; no later chapter in the supplied evidence confirms that he reaches the requirement, completes the matching set, transfers them, or replaces them. (Chapter 755)

Abilities and mechanics

The chapter says the dropped subclass boots have identical basic property boosts and different set effects. The displayed common template on the Guardian example includes 2,560 Defense, 47,343 Vitality, 6,163 Strength, 2,515 Dexterity, one Level 8 socket, 94,680 maximum HP, 15% increased damage and healing, and 5,472 damage absorption, with a nominal Level 230 requirement reduced by thirty levels. Because the Assassin panel is not separately printed, these are shared-drop properties reported by the scene, not an independently named Assassin item panel. (Chapter 755)

The displayed boots also have an active kick that stuns targets below Level 230 for ten seconds with a one-hour cooldown. The prose says the basic properties are shared, but it does not explicitly distinguish whether this active is common or subclass-specific; it therefore cannot be assigned to Lost Dream's boots with the same confidence as the stat boosts. (Chapter 755)

Assassin set effects are not shown. The Guardian two-, four-, six-, and eight-piece bonuses printed in the chapter belong to God Killer equipment and must not be transferred to the Assassin set. Lost Dream has only this confirmed Assassin Celestial piece in the supplied evidence, so no set bonus activation is established. (Chapter 755)

Relationships

  • Lost Dream: The uncontested recipient and only confirmed possessor of the Assassin boots. (Chapter 755)
  • Sun Xin Yu: Her eligibility for both Thief subclasses creates the distribution choice; selecting Bandit boots leaves Assassin boots to Lost Dream. (Chapter 755)
