Snow-Scale Wind Serpent is Zhang Yang's first flying mount and the first such player-owned mount publicly seen in the game. It combines fast aerial travel with Nature magic and shared durability, giving Zhang an early Chaos Realm mobility advantage. (Chapters 470–472)

Biography

Inheritances and Territorial War

Zhang Yang trains the Wind Serpent while preparing to confront Morning Town's mayor, using it beside Felice to guard a cave and kill large monster pulls. Once Felice reaches the owner's level cap, the mount receives the bulk of the experience and quickly reaches Level 100, expanding into its mature flying form. It carries Zhang Yang and Luilina to safety, then lets him cross ground at several times ordinary mount speed and reach an endangered guildmate far ahead of the rescue party. Felice later mocks its poison attack, while the serpent's expression is humorously interpreted as offended. By Chapter 540 the faster, more enduring Violet Thunderhawk replaces “Whitey Jr.” as Zhang Yang's main aerial transportation. (Chapters 470–472, 488, and 540)

Appearance and personality

At Level 100 the serpent is ten meters long with a fifteen-to-sixteen-meter wingspan, snowy scales, and small green eyes. Despite its size, those bean-like eyes make it appear cute rather than frightening. It does not speak; the apparent indignation toward Felice is the narrator's comic interpretation of its blinking stare, not confirmed dialogue or human-level reasoning. (Chapters 470, 472, and 488)

Abilities and gameplay

Its Level 100 profile lists 33,600 HP with Vitality Aura, 1,800 Defense, and 4,256–5,056 Magic Attack. Shared Life passively joins mount and rider health. Venom Spout deals one hundred percent Nature magic damage every two seconds and has a ten-percent chance to make the target take twenty percent more Nature damage for ten seconds; the effect cannot stack. As a spell-type mount, its attacks bypass ordinary physical Defense calculations. (Chapter 470)

Flight is its defining utility. It moves at least three times faster than ground travel and can ignore terrain, producing an even larger practical time advantage on indirect routes. Its later limit is relative stamina and speed: the Mythical Violet Thunderhawk can cross long distances without the fatigue the serpent displays. (Chapters 471–472 and 540)

Relationships

  • Zhang Yang: He trains and controls the serpent telepathically, uses it for combat and travel, and later replaces it with a superior flying mount. (Chapters 470–472 and 540)
  • Felice: They fight together during training. Felice calls the mount stupid for spitting poison, prompting the serpent's comically interpreted stare. (Chapters 470 and 488)
