Prideful Babysitter is a Pride guild Priest who heals an ineffective early dungeon party and later joins its failed retaliation against Zhang Yang. (Chapters 14–18, 31–32, and 46)

Biography

Rebirth and White Jade City

Prideful Babysitter serves as one of two healers in Floral Shorts's party and stays quiet when guildmate Kindling Chest Hair's tanking is criticized. He explains that the tank dies too quickly for him to react, then continues healing through later boss mechanics even when incoming damage exceeds his casting speed. After Zhang Yang removes several disruptive Pride members, Babysitter joins their open-world revenge attack but cannot save Prideful Precepts before Zhang Yang kills him and is then killed himself. The group is repeatedly corpse-camped down to Level 3, leaving Babysitter visibly frightened when he encounters Zhang Yang again. (Chapters 14–18, 31–32, and 46)

Appearance and personality

The corpus provides no physical description of Prideful Babysitter. He is quieter than his guildmates and initially avoids openly defending their mistakes, but loyalty to Pride keeps him with them through the retaliation. Abilities and gameplay

Prideful Babysitter is a Priest whose demonstrated function is direct healing. His casts can restore Kindling Chest Hair's HP, but casting time and throughput limit him: he cannot finish a heal before Prideful Precepts is killed in PvP, and he cannot keep pace when the tank's HP falls faster than a single healer can restore it.
