Not Telling My Name

Not Telling My Name is an elite Thief in Sword and Fire Mercenary assigned to assassinate Zhang Yang during the Underground Tower conflict. His patient stealth tactics fail when Clear Lotus intervenes, contributing to the mercenary group's decision to abandon contracts on Zhang Yang's life. (Chapters 122–131)

Biography

Rebirth and White Jade City

Dominating Blade orders Not Telling My Name and 44 Bandits to bypass the tower's monsters through Stealth and kill Zhang Yang so the mercenaries can claim the Land Lease. After his first exchange, Not Telling withdraws instead of forcing a bad attack, intending to wait until Zhang Yang is vulnerable and then strike from hiding. Clear Lotus recovers from control, uses Shadow Walk, and attacks him before that plan can mature; he dies and loses a level. The failure removes him from Dominating Blade's later formal challenge, and it becomes part of the evidence that two accepted assassination contracts have cost the mercenaries rather than harming Zhang Yang. (Chapters 122–123, 126, and 130–131)

Appearance and personality

No physical or real-world description is provided. Not Telling My Name is notably quiet and action-oriented, staying calm enough to re-enter Stealth and plan a delayed finishing strike rather than argue. The sparse record supports patience and professionalism, but not a wider moral or personal profile. (Chapter 123)

Abilities and gameplay

Stealth lets him bypass most tower monsters and disappear from player sight; enemies with True Eyes on the lower floors are the stated environmental counter. He also possesses Blur, a defensive skill that Dominating Blade expects could have saved him, although the text does not show its activation or define its exact effect. His death before using it establishes reaction timing as a practical limitation. (Chapters 122 and 126)
