Fire Fountain
Fire Fountain is a Level 72 Pyromancer in Imperial Sky and one of One Sword Stroke's important combat players. He has strong offensive output and a defensive Ice Frame, but his demonstrated duels against Han Ying Xue end when her healing outlasts his damage. (Chapters 226–227, 262, 281, and 329–331)
Biography
Thunderstorm Castle and the Chaos Realm
Fire Fountain first fights Han Ying Xue during an Imperial Sky confrontation and loses more than half of his roughly 8,000 HP to her opening spell combination. He cannot kill through her self-healing before the damage-over-time effect finishes him, and he drops a pair of gloves. He remains part of One Sword Stroke's planning group and later uses Ice Frame when Lone Desert Smoke focuses him, giving Blooming Ichor an opening to Ambush Sun Xin Yu. In the Level 72 competition he again faces Han Ying Xue; despite strong attacks, her healing fully offsets them while her poison steadily kills him. (Chapters 226–227, 262, 281, and 329–331)
Appearance and personality
Fire Fountain is compared favorably in looks to Blooming Ichor, but no detailed physical description is given. He stays composed enough to discuss boss-race strategy and is described as especially strong in player combat. His visible panic when one opening removes most of his health and his humiliation at losing to damage over time show that his confidence is vulnerable when his burst fails. (Chapters 226–227 and 262)
Abilities and gameplay
As a Pyromancer, Fire Fountain deals strong ranged magic damage, though none of his offensive spell names are stated. Ice Frame is his demonstrated survival tool and temporarily protects him when focused. His central limit is insufficient sustained pressure against a healer who can cure her own incoming damage; without an interrupt or healing reduction shown in his kit, Han Ying Xue can maintain herself while poison works through his health. (Chapters 226–227, 281, and 331)
Relationships
- Han Ying Xue: She defeats him twice by pairing damage-over-time magic with self-healing, turning his higher direct attack into a losing resource exchange. (Chapters 226–227 and 331)
- One Sword Stroke: Fire Fountain is one of his trusted Imperial Sky professionals and contributes to group strategy and PvP. (Chapters 227, 262, and 281)
- Blooming Ichor: Blooming uses the moment when Fire Fountain activates Ice Frame to attack Sun Xin Yu, showing their coordinated team role. (Chapter 281)
Items
- Gray-Silver gloves: Fire Fountain drops this unnamed pair when Han Ying Xue kills him. An Imperial Sky member immediately retrieves them, so his later custody is not established. (Chapter 227)
