Vicross

Vicross is Ron's son, a gifted chef, and an exacting swordsman descended from House Molran. His pristine clothes and severe standards suit both halves of his life: preparing flawless meals and inflicting precisely controlled pain on Cale's enemies.

Biography

A chef with an assassin's education

Vicross works as the Henituse estate's second chef and Ron's severe, fastidious son. The public profession is genuine—he plans and prepares the household's food—but it sits beside an assassin's education. He keeps blades sharp, torture gloves ready, and both kitchen and combat tools as clean as his clothes. (Chapters 2–3)

He initially watches Cale Henituse as the household's troublesome young master. Cale's changed habits and expanding group do not produce a sudden declaration of loyalty; Vicross simply begins traveling as his personal chef and appears wherever a disciplined blade is useful. Cooking remains the continuity between the estate servant and the operative. (Chapters 2–9)

Arm and Ron's injury

Arm's poison leaves Ron near death and costs him an arm, making the conflict personal for Vicross. He joins the Hais and elven-village counteroperations rather than remaining only at Ron's bedside. During the fighting he places himself between Cale and danger, showing that his servant role now includes direct protection of the group that is helping save his father. (Chapters 20, 24–25)

Belbud's capture demonstrates the non-dueling side of his training. Vicross recognizes that the prisoner carries a concealed suicide capsule, removes it before Belbud can destroy himself and his information, and secures him for interrogation. He then uses poisons and controlled pain while pursuing answers about the organization that maimed Ron. (Chapters 25–26)

The anger is real, but the work remains technical. A dead captive cannot answer questions, so Vicross must read restraints, dosage, hidden devices, and the body's limits. His white gloves are not a supernatural focus; they express the same exacting separation between a dirty task and the person carrying it out. (Chapters 25–26)

A path built around the greatsword

Vicross inherits assassination principles from Ron without copying his weapon. On the Eastern Continent, he reveals a self-developed greatsword style that applies dagger-like silence and precision to an oversized blade. He can strike with the flat, drive shock into the body, and attack pain points without covering the scene in unnecessary blood. (Chapter 49)

Against bandits, this lets him incapacitate rather than kill. The blade's mass supplies force, while his control determines whether that force cuts, breaks balance, or produces internal pain. The style is his answer to House Molran's legacy: Ron's lessons remain visible, but the resulting art belongs to Vicross. (Chapter 49)

Toward House Molran

The Eastern Continent operation gives Ron and Vicross a base from which House Molran may be restored. Vicross subdues threats, supports reconnaissance, and continues cooking at the Hope and Adventure Loving Inn. The inn is simultaneously a cover, a real workplace, and a foothold in the homeland their family lost. (Chapters 49, 58)

His latest role therefore refuses a choice between chef, swordsman, and assassin heir. Each craft depends on preparation, cleanliness, and exact control, and Cale's group uses all three rather than reducing him to Ron's assistant. (Chapters 49, 53–58)

Appearance and personality

Vicross is a neat, stern young man who favors spotless clothing and white gloves. He is taciturn, fastidious, and intensely averse to grime, especially when handling enemies. His standards can be intimidating, but they also make him a disciplined cook and a reliable combatant. Loyalty is expressed through action rather than warmth: he feeds the group, stands beside Ron, and carries out Cale's plans without wasting words. (Chapters 2–9, 24–25, 44–49, 58)

Abilities and powers

Self-developed greatsword technique

Vicross moves a greatsword with speed, deceptive silence, and fine control. He uses the edge when cutting is necessary, but the flat lets him transmit heavy shock without opening the body. Precision strikes to pain points and internal impact make the weapon useful for capture as well as killing. The surprising quiet of such a large blade reflects assassin training translated into a different physical language. (Chapters 25, 43, 49)

This is not brute strength without technique. Vicross controls angle, sound, contact surface, and intended injury. Within scope he is not explicitly called a swordmaster and no aura is assigned to him, so his demonstrated threat should be credited to trained movement and a weapon chosen for his own path. The Vicross's Greatsword supports that method. (Chapter 49)

Capture, assassination, and interrogation

Ron's teaching gives Vicross knowledge of restraints, hidden poison, suicide measures, covert performance, and controlled pain. He can preserve a target that expects to die, as he does by finding Belbud's capsule, then use the captive as an intelligence source. Acting ability also lets him move through operations without advertising the assassin behind the chef's role. (Chapters 25–26)

These skills depend on control and preparation. Interrogation cannot recover information from a dead target, and poison requires dosage rather than indiscriminate release. Ron provides the foundation, but Vicross increasingly combines it with his own greatsword and House Molran's rebuilding objectives. (Chapters 26, 49, 58)

Cooking and professional discipline

Vicross is an accomplished professional chef, not an assassin merely pretending to hold a kitchen job. He feeds Cale's household on the road and at operational bases, maintaining meal quality through military travel and covert work. Cooking gives the group routine and sustenance while preserving a believable public identity. (Chapters 2–3, 11, 53–58)

His cleanliness links the crafts without becoming a magical ability. Spare white gloves, immaculate tools, and careful preparation reduce contamination in a kitchen and keep distasteful combat work controlled. The same temperament that makes him intimidating also makes his performance reliable. (Chapters 2, 24–26, 49)

Relationships

• Ron: Ron is Vicross's father and first assassin teacher. Ron's lost arm makes Arm a personal enemy, while their Eastern Continent work turns revenge toward rebuilding House Molran.
• Cale Henituse: Vicross moves from wary servant to trusted operative. Cale relies on his cooking, protection, captures, and interrogation without asking him to abandon the profession he chose openly.
• Choi Han: Choi Han is a fellow swordsman whose overwhelming aura contrasts with Vicross's pain-focused precision. Their different methods give Cale both decisive force and controlled capture.
