Vicross's Greatsword

Vicross's Greatsword is the heavy blade, also described as a longsword, that Vicross uses when his work for Cale requires open combat rather than kitchen knives or assassination tools.

History

Elf village battle

Vicross first wields the sword during the clash near the elf village, meeting the secret organization's magic spearman in close combat. He continues using it during the pursuit and swings it against Number One while Cale's allies dismantle the enemy force. (Chapters 24–25)

Northern and underworld operations

Vicross arrives armed with the greatsword during the northeastern conflict, ready to protect Cale's group in the operation against Arm. In Liv-An he uses it against the bandit force that controls the eastern underworld, then carefully cleans and polishes the blade after the fighting. (Chapters 44 and 49)

Abilities and properties

• The weapon's size supports Vicross's direct, forceful sword style and lets him contest heavily armed opponents. (Chapters 24–25)
• No independent enchantment, proper name, or supernatural consciousness is established; its importance comes from Vicross's skill and repeated custody. (Chapters 44 and 49)
• Vicross maintains it meticulously, treating weapon care with the same precision he applies to cooking and interrogation. (Chapter 49)
