Chang Su Wang

Chang Su Wang was a Sky Sword Sect enforcer who led Unity-realm subordinates in blockading the Southern Cloud Sacred Palace. His confidence in a grand-perfection undying body proved fatal when Dong Bo Xue Ying attacked the comparatively weak soul supporting it. (Chapters 1052–1057)

Biography

Blockade and death

Chang Su Wang came to Fiery Zhao Nation as the Sky Sword Sect's ninth-level leader, relying on the Sky Sword Undying Body to threaten the Southern Cloud Sacred Religion and kill its ordinary disciples. When Xue Ying appeared, Chang recognized Southern Cloud King's personal disciple but expected his defensive cultivation to let the group withdraw on its own terms. Xue Ying instead engulfed him in an illusory realm and destroyed his soul before witnesses could understand what had happened, then used Spectacular Painting to flatten Chang and his subordinates into an artwork displayed outside the palace. The humiliatingly effortless death reversed the blockade's message: sect experts thereafter cited Chang's fate as proof that they did not yet understand Xue Ying's strength. (Chapters 1052–1057 and 1063–1065)

Appearance and personality

The local excerpts give no reliable physical description. Chang Su Wang was forceful and self-assured, publicly ordering the Southern Cloud religion to retreat and remaining unafraid after recognizing Xue Ying; that confidence depended on a body whose weakness against soul attacks he failed to account for. (Chapter 1052)

Abilities and cultivation

Chang Su Wang was a ninth-level expert because he had cultivated the Sky Sword Undying Body to tenth-level grand perfection. The body was so difficult to destroy that ordinary Cosmos Gods struggled to kill him, and he could potentially break free even after Spectacular Painting compressed him into art. His soul, however, remained only at the eighth-level standard. Xue Ying's Mirage and Illusory Realm bypassed the durable body and erased the soul with a thought, after which the undying cultivation could offer no resistance. This mismatch between physical survival and soul defense was the decisive limit of his latest state. (Chapters 1052–1053, 1056–1057, and 1065)
